less than 1/3 of all votes reported so far, so everything depends upon what specific districts are yet to report and what their margins will be

Some of the names of these districts are so captivating...I can see where Tolkien came up with some of his work...
The Vale of Glamorgan. Wales. Beautiful.

Never cared for Zap. Had several of his albums. Too intellectual for me.

Simple paper ballots with scrutineers from both sides watching the count - and I’ve seen more than a few scrutineers pointing out mistakes that went against their side. They take great pride in ensuring the system is fair.
Fraud isn’t impossible - but it’s not going to be easy.

Very, very glum presenter on BBC 5 Live right now. The glum just reverberates in his voice!
I toasted him with my wine.

I read in several places today tha the late returns were skewed to Exit, whereas the earlier returns were for remain. That is why the first returns, which were stunningly “Exit” caused such a stir.

I think it was Geoff, but one of their engineers did a terrific book about his time with the Beatles. Recounted how they came upon all those weird sounds. Said McCartney was a fiend at the boards, and was such a perfectionist that he’d be there long after everyone else left. Drove them crazy.

For some reason, I had Mike Bloomfield in my head.
Of course, Al Kooper played the organ on “Like A Rolling Stone”.
btw, I agree with your post on Ringo’s drumming - esp on “Tomorrow Never Knows” and, my favorite Ringo track, “Rain”.

Thank you. You know I have lost count of the nights I have gone to sleep on election night depressed and down - I don’t think anyone on the leave side truly believed this would happen.
