CHARLOTTE, NC (WWBT) - A veteran of the NASCAR circuit and his daughter are recovering at a North Carolina hospital after they were allegedly attacked outside a concert in Charlotte.
According to a post shared by former NASCAR driver Kenny Wallace on Twitter, his brother and fellow NASCAR driver Mike Wallace, along with Mike's daughter Lindsay were beaten as they were leaving a Rascal Flatts concert in Charlotte at the PNC Amphitheater Friday evening.
Kenny went on to say that the men "continued to kick Mike in the face while Mike was 'knocked out'" in a series of tweets Sunday afternoon.

I am of Amish descent. I have family still in the Pennsylvania Dutch area. At first, the jokes were amusing. Now it just annoys me. They are HARD workers, honorable, honest and thorough in all they do. Good people. Loving people of faith. I love my family.
My family come from generations of stone masons. They built many of the stone, historic colonial houses one sees traveling in the eastern states. Now my uncles restore the original structures. (I inherited their gift. I have built literally hundreds of feet of property walls. I’m female. I have perfect placement perception. If our nation blows up, I’ll be headed into the middle of nowhere & will build my own shelter, and boulders to hide behind.)
All this isn’t to brag. It’s just that many have no idea who the Amish truly are. They aren’t just people who dress funny and ride around in carriages with their Bibles.

Ive been to one of his shows. It’s a big party. When young guys drink a lot they can get rowdy. But, I never saw any fights or aggression at his show recently. The environment reminds me more of a Jimmy Buffet Style crowd in temperament.

This is the 3rd time guys in that truck have been reported for that kind of behavior. They are the problem, not the concert. I’ve been to a Chesney show and never had it saw an issue.

They just showed the picture of Mr. Wallace’s face, all bloodied and swollen. I almost vomited. What kind of animals repeatedly kick a man in his face when he is down??!!

I’ve seen nothing about the reason or motive for the beating. Probably safe to assume they were shit faced. Perhaps they said something inappropriate to his daughter. Strange nobody else helped them. Beating on a woman is a good way to draw a crowd of people to throw a beatin’ on you.
Considering this is the 3rd time they’ve been involved in a similar issue hanging out at that venue, it’s safe to say that the assailants were the instigators.
Mike was there with his wife and daughter.
