Scooter was interrogated without lawyers present, which is customary in that situation. Tim Russert was interviewed in his own office with his lawyers present. His testimony was different than Libbys, even though no crime was committed to begin with. It was a complete clown court.

Ok, I will buy it, but that still makes him an “Un-indicted Co-Conspirator” for Keeping SILENT!!

“””The special prosecutor knew this at the outset of the investigation, because Armitrage called him. But, the prosecutor continued the investigation anyway, and eventually caught Libby in a “perjury trap” — not for out’ing Plame. “”

The whole thing was a farce. The special prosecutor is the one who put Marc Rich in prison. Libby was the lawyer who got Marc Rich a pardon.. My take is that Fitzpatrick had a score to settle.

Not much difference between Hillary and W, so it makes sense for all the Bushies to support Hillary.

I just explained what the special prosecutor did.

I expect he also ordered Armitrage to stay silent.

Yep.
Armitiage and Powell were working for the DNC even then.
I wonder if GWB ever figured out that these people were the source of much of the leaks to the DNC.
GWB probably still goes to them for advice

That sound’s clintonesque. How does one get “caught” in a perjury trap? Commit perjury?

Yes, it's how law enforcement prosecute a lot of people: catch them in a lie during interrogation, or at least something that could be proven to be false.

Then, even if they can't get a conviction for anything else, they have them for that crime -- and can use it to force a confession.

In Libby's case, it was essentially his word against Tim Russert's.

Armitage voted for Gore and Kerry.

Isn't Armitage the one responsible for trying to get Bush impeached and getting Scooter Libby jailed.

The Donald may not appear to be “Republican”, but I am pretty sure that Herself is definitely NOT a Republican. In fact, I question whether Richard Armitage is even Republican himself.

The whole statement is clearly silly and unworthy of serious discussion.

Richard Armitage is also the person that jerked the rug out from under Scooter Libby, and forced him to take the fall for information that Armitage himself had leaked to Robert Novak, regarding Valerie Plame, herself no Republican.

“Richard Armitage is an outright traitor...”

You could have stopped right there. Anyone ever heard of the Heroin Highway?

he also ordered Armitrage to stay silent.

He said so in the article, which means he could of STOPPED IT by Speaking. And I was brought up knowing you had a DUTY to speak up and tell the truth.

Still an un-indicted co-conspirator then.

I’m talking about the traditional Republican, of course there are many now that are like Hillary, but we all know they are not really Republicans.

And, then Armitrage could have been prosecuted for a crime, by interfering in an ongoing investigation and prosecution.

For all practical purposes, Fitzgerald had the powers of a United States Attorney.

And I was brought up knowing you had a DUTY to speak up and tell the truth.

You don't have that option in this particular case, unless you want to go to jail.

Lots of people don't remember history, although you can probably be excused because the enemedia buried it because it exonerated Bush and Rove:
