Hillary's Huge Libyan Disaster (great article)

Prior to the February 17, 2011, “Day of Rage,” Libya had a national budget surplus of 8.7 percent of GDP in 2010, with oil production at 1.8 million barrels per day, on track to reach its goal of 3 million barrels per day. Currently, oil production has decreased by over 80 percent. Following the revolution, the Libyan economy contracted by an estimated 41.8 percent, with a national deficit of 17.1 percent GDP in 2011.

Before the revolution, Libya was a secure, prospering, secular Islamic country and a critical ally providing intelligence on terrorist activity post–September 11, 2001. Qaddafi was no longer a threat to the United States. Yet Secretary of State Hillary Clinton strongly advocated and succeeded in convincing the administration to support the Libyan rebels with a no-fly zone, intended to prevent a possible humanitarian disaster that turned quickly into all-out war.

Within weeks of the revolution there were two valid cease-fire opportunities, one presented to the Department of Defense and Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), and a second opportunity presented to U.S. Africa Command for direct military commander negotiations to effect Gaddafi’s abdication, in which I was personally involved. Both opportunities were rejected and shut down by Secretary Clinton.

George Soros and Hillary Clinton came up with the “Responsibility To Protect” idea that they used as cover to attack Libya.

Our attack on Libya was made so that Hillary and Soros could profit.

Where did Qadaffi’s fortune go?

Where did Libya’s gold go?

Doesn’t matter. None of it matters. The Media and the Republican Party are savagely, and relentlessly, attacking Trump 24/7.

The Ruling Class and their Media propaganda outlets mean to put that witch in office and you peons have no say in the matter.

I think a lot of it has to do with the way the media is demonizing Trump. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such an onslaught against a political candidate. They’ll have you believe this is the reincarnation of Adolph Hitler, replete with genocide, etc. Really.

There are some threads about the polling. The short of it is that the polls are over-representing Democrats. Historically people almost always vote for the candidate of the party they voted for in the last election. In the last election, Obama beat Romney by about 4% nationwide. So a fair poll would try to reach likely voters and balance them so that only about 4% more Obama voters would included than Romney voters. However, the polls so far seem to be running 10%-12% sampling people who voted for Obama in the last election. By this measure they are over-representing people likely to vote for Hillary. If you balance them to align with the 4% built-in advantage, Trump is either much closer or even ahead. It gets even more interesting when you break it down state by state because of the electoral college. In states that were closer than 4% or in states that went for Romney, Trump may have a large edge including places like PA and NJ.

Of course Hillary supporters in the media will want to push polls that they think benefit them. Look for polls that show their internals and show likely voter representation balanced. Plus there is another factor which is that if you did not vote in the last election you are not a likely voter so you won’t get counted in these polls. The open question is whether Trump will inspire people to get out and vote when they hadn’t been inspired before. The rhetoric is getting hot and it might be an historic election in many ways. It is a very crucial election for the future of the country.
