1. Missing Dark Mode As with Android, for years a dark mode has been high on the list of iOS requests and yet again Apple didnt deliver it. 2. Goodbye Easy Access Widgets One of the larger changes made in iOS 10 is Apples decision to add widget support to its lockscreen and even some app icons for 3D Touch enabled devices (read: iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus). But what Apple didnt touch on at the time was it has also removed them from the notification center. 3. Basic Keyboard Omissions
Apple made some solid progress with the stock iOS keyboard in iOS 10. The primary goal was to make it better at anticipating the words you need by analysing how you type, something that sees Apple try to catch up to third party iOS keyboards from Google and Swiftkey.

Apple has just screwed their users again. Then again when does Apple do anything for anyone but itself.
Not having an accessible battery is an eventual KOD.
I look at it as no longer having to endure upgrade notices.
Hate Apple much? Your thread posts are so predictable.
Not related to OS10 but it is a serious flaw none the less. On my Samsung you have to almost destroy it to get the battery out. A lot of phones have that issue. I do believe Apple pioneered that feature.
I try to never let it get below 40%.
He is just trolling as usual. Doesn’t seem to care how old his bait is.
Says who? Because Apple says so? The real issue is it will be unusable because if security issues if no further updates are released.

To be fair, other folks do the same kind of crap on windows threads and android shreds. Par for the course.
Planned obsolescence.
Sounds like communism to me....typical Marxist statement, government position - YOU MUST CHANGE.....
NOTHING wrong with my iPad 2, all I need........
Will Windows 7’run on a 386?
You don’t have to do that. The battery management software in modern laptops and personal devices is designed to ensure that the battery is neither overcharged, nor allowed to discharge too much.
Given this, the true enemy of battery life becomes number of cycles, and even then, the batteries last many, many cycles.
You’re better off just using the device normally and either charging it at night (if you use it heavily), or just overnight when you need to (if you don’t).
At least it’s not NiCad.
I wiped my old 2 and now use it for Tv in the kitchen where I don’t have cable. Works like a charm while my newer iPad goes with me everywhere.
Heck, Windows 7 won't run on a Pentium-II (Win7 requires 1GHz CPU, Pentium-II only goes to 450MHz), much less a 486 or 386.
False analogy, a 5 year life cycle and a 20 year life cycle are not the same. Besides, if you want to compare apples to oranges, Windows XP was released in 2001 and support for that just ended with a very early notification period. Not just 3 months.
I don’t understand that bit of conventional wisdom.
Why are we REQUIRED to upgrade perfectly good devices with extremely expensive new ones when the old ones are perfectly serviceable?
I can’t stand Apple products, period, but this is more of a general question.
Which Samsung?? I have several Samsung Android devices (but not a phone). Accessing the battery is dead easy. There are several videos on YouTube that show the technique.
