Once again our president has no idea what he’s talking about.
President Obama spoke to reporters Monday about the terrorist attack on the Pulse nightclub in Orlando and said Omar Mateen had a “Glock which had a lot of clips in it.” Obama also said Mateen had an “assault rifle.”According to CNN, the President explained that Mateen acquired his guns via a background check. And he explained that the background check did not stop Manteen “because he did not have a criminal record that in some ways would prohibit him from purchasing” his weapons…
…It should be noted that Glocks do not have “clips”; they have magazines.

Just tried to make a “multi clip” GLOCK like the one ser Fuhrer said the murderer had. Two single stack mags do not fit in a double stack magazine well. Darn.
Saw BOR for a couple of minutes on Colbert last night talking about 2A was a result of the revolution and the reason “we defeated all those redcoats running around was pow— everybody had a gun”. I turned the channel because he really kind of reminded me of Joe Biden...
Other Amendments, especially the vaunted 1st Amd say “Congress shsll make no law...” The 2Amd says the RKBA “shall not be infringed.” The 1st is not absolute. The 2nd is. It covers local and state governments, the Federal government and private entities and admits of no exceptions, either of those who have the right or of the arms they can keep and bear. Much as it may make for some discomfort among people who thind they are staunch @Amd supporters, that includes insane persons and convicted felons. The 13th Amd posibly provides the only exception and that is those subject to involuntary servitude (prisoners) because involuntary servitude can be construed to mean any actioins or conditions of the servitudee.

Ergo, (in Obamalogic) we shouldn’t take any chances, nobody who has no criminal record should be allowed to purchase a gun!

I actually think the best way to convert anti-gunners is to let them take a 1 day NRA handgun safety course which includes firing a handgun on a range.
Once people become familiar—even a little bit—with handguns their fear goes away.

Always glad to defer to an EXPERT (drip under pressure?) I too have been accused of being obsolete for almost 75 years but although I may be stupid I do see the point of my comment which is that the bullet fired in most AR 15's is about the size of a 22 LR, but has a lot more velocity.
