The Blaze founder Glenn Beck wrote on his Facebook page the following impassioned message of comfort to members of the gay community after the massacre in Orlando.
We are not gay or straight, not black, white or brown, Christian or atheist.
We are all human. Hatred, bigotry, murder is a HUMAN disease.
It is experienced by the wealthiest 1% and the poorest 1%. In the all white neighborhood and the black or immigrant neighborhood. East and west, farm or city, north and south, left and right.
We must find our way to one another.
I will fight for HUMAN RIGHTS, because I do not have anymore rights than you and you must have all of mine and I, yours. Why narrow rights down?
“Equal rights!” should be our rallying cry!

It’s not okay to be gay. There is nothing “right” about it. There is everything “wrong” with it.
Gays shouldn’t be murdered. They shouldn’t be applauded either. They should be shunned. Homosexuality should be rejected as just an alternative lifestyle. It’s a perverted lifestyle. It’s a dangerous lifestyle. It’s a deadly lifestyle. It shouldn’t be accepted by society.
A better statement would be, lets get the g-d muslims out of our country, now.

I am for treating the muslims here exactly like they treat the non-muslims in muslim countries.

Beck is teachable. He wants to learn. He is not a student of history for nothing.
He has been deceived to think that the GOPe is conservatism. He will eventually realize that GOPe conservatism is an oxymoron. I think his eyes will be opened, just like much of America’s eyes will be opened.
Isn't Beck all about importing as many "syrians"-etc as possible?
Sure, Beck will make out like a bandit through his government-approved charities, We the People not so much.
I think everyone’s points are that it’s a little weird for GB to think he can comfort all the suffering gays in the world, not that gays deserved to die.

Beck is just Beck and I don't want to come across as hostile to people who might like his show, I used to like his show myself when he was on overnight about 10 years ago.
As these GOP radio hosts slide into obsolescence and irrelevance, they are going to do stuff like cry over the air.
It's just sad.
I think GB’s point is that, as an individual, he is wanting to comfort those who are hurting.
To ascribe ulterior motives to GB, or to say that what he has said/done in the past nullifies this sentiment, is disingenuous or dishonest.
GB is not God. He has made mistakes. He has done the wrong thing. This isn’t wrong.

I know that he doesn’t. He relies on the fact that most people don’t read history and won’t spot his nonsense.
