The Blaze founder Glenn Beck wrote on his Facebook page the following impassioned message of comfort to members of the gay community after the massacre in Orlando.
We are not gay or straight, not black, white or brown, Christian or atheist.
We are all human. Hatred, bigotry, murder is a HUMAN disease.
It is experienced by the wealthiest 1% and the poorest 1%. In the all white neighborhood and the black or immigrant neighborhood. East and west, farm or city, north and south, left and right.
We must find our way to one another.
I will fight for HUMAN RIGHTS, because I do not have anymore rights than you and you must have all of mine and I, yours. Why narrow rights down?
Equal rights! should be our rallying cry!

It can be both. I think the Talibani father probably pushed him to do it.
I have two adult children who are not walking the way they were brought up to walk.
They are not homosexuals, but sin is sin.
Regardless, sinners do not deserve to die because some follower of a weirdo radical religion (that our pResident supports) thinks they should die.
I know for sure that fellow FReepers don’t believe that being homosexual means you should be condemned to be shot to death by some idiot moose slime.
I know that.
Better my kid be gay than Muslim.
I am an advocate for children and would never promote homosexuality to them.
Homosexuality is a mental disorder.
If someone like GB says that they stand with them during the Orlando massacre, then that could mean that they believe that “humans” should not be massacred, no matter what their mental illness may be.
This is not China. We do not supper the killing of people with mental illness.
Apparently Beck did not read the newest Revelation from his Prophet in Salt Lake that stated the children of gays cannot be baptized or confirmed members of his church unless they renounce their parents.
Beck is about ratings......to which he is losing. Thus his ‘latch on’ to this ‘cause’.
Will press on but there is a large opening for “things to happen” for those who seek to steer the hearts of men towards what a loving God desires our behaviors/love to reside with. In Orlando now and the Christian imagery local news is infusing with this tragedy is leading towards a lot of Spiritual confusion. Should Christ be grafted into the *acceptance* of sin and strife? Sin is always there but needs to be called out in the most loving and genuine way as possible. The neutering process is rapidly evolving for the worse.
IDK.
I think Beck has tried to do the right thing. He has made mistakes, like all of us.
I don’t think he is calculating what he is saying in order to win ratings or make himself look better.
I think that deep down he is a humble man who is trying to do the right thing.
Life is hard and we all need grace.
Its a shame when has beens continue their attention whoring ways.
In any event, Vote Trump!
Mr Mojo
You should tell Beck to close to close his mouth......
ooops,
Then, you will be accused of interfering with his sex life.

No, but I am for it being illegal behavior again in all 50 states. Not that govt goes actively randomly looking, but when some boy or girl gets propositioned by a stranger, or a weird aunt or uncle does something, or two of them get caught in a public bathroom or park doing it, yeah I am for enforcing it under the same circumstances as it used to be.
And I wouldnt mind the adultery laws coming back on the books for normal people either. And fault (cruelty, cheating, reckless debt) divorce laws back on the books as well.
Back up the Rubber Truck.
Pray America wakes
This irrelevant attention whore is utterly nauseating the way he panders.
Can’t believe he once held our respect as a conservative leader.
Eff’in Mormon bat sh1t krazy.
RE: “I had to do a double take when I saw this because I literally could not believe that Beck would so thoroughly adopt the language of the left. His descent into madness through lust for relevance continues.
Believe me, I agree that it’s beyond poor taste to offer anything but condolences to those affected by the shooting, but it’s wrong to go to this other extreme.”
Or Art Garfunkel's.
Yes. “No Fault Divorce” was one of the most egregious laws foisted upon the population.
But, like I said, no FReeper would ever condone violence against a homosexual.
Not. One. Of. Us.
So what GB said is totally acceptable. We will comfort (ALL OF) those humans in Orlando in the storm.
I can’t applaud anything Beck says because he’s become a hateful creature.
That said, I agree with you. Those innocents certainly did not deserve to die, BLTs or otherwise. (I just can’t commit that whole string of letters to memory and I don’t care).
Let’s not blame the victims but rather focus our legitimate anger on the perps and their willing enablers on the left.
Its oly acceptable if you caveat it with a ton of assumptions on how you have to interpret what he said to make you agree with it.
Im not for violence against anyone unless they are violent. Then they just need to be stopped for the safety of the people.
But Im not going to make a bunch of assumptions so Glenns words can be palatable for me.
Glenn is a complete whack job.
Thankfully, there were no caveats in this message from GB.
I had to wade through so much bull sh!t today on FB with the subtle and not-so-sublte attacks on Christians and gun owners being blamed for Orlando.
Beck didn’t go there.
Like I said, Beck isn’t perfect (none of us are). Beck has made mistakes (like all of us).
This statement was not a mistake.
