Sounds like a decent guy
ok my friends: Do we respect the dead on this one? He can’t buck us now.
RIP, but terrible Senator, total establishment. He stopped Bolton from becoming UN Ambassador, until a recess appointment.
RINO to the core!
May his Memory be Eternal!
EDIT: Yes he was.
Here's one from the Grooveyard Of Forgotten Un-Favorites, flashback to 2000 and cinco. That's a little Spanish lingo, my friends...
Joe Bidens and Boxers coming,
Looks like Boltons on his own.
This summer, that Vich was stunning
Brain dead in Ohio.
Gotta get down to it
RINOs have let Bolton down
Should have gone through long ago.
The Democrats knew this
and still kept putzing around
But George didnt seem to know.
I have about the same amount of sadness for the death of a Voinovich as I did when Saddam was hanged.
He was the Democrat mayor of Cleveland and NEVER stopped being a Democrat.
He was also a Kasich delegate for the 2016 convention.
Ohio RINOs are the worst.
RIP.
Didn’t Voinovich veto CCW for Ohio?
So maybe Voinovich was good for something after all.
Bad news for Mitt is that this is one more RINO he won't be able to tap for his anti-Trump lunacy.
Come back to “-pathy” FReepers.
No, I didn’t like his politics but that doesn’t negate his contribution to our efforts...
His family could use some prayers.
He was an excellent pro business Republican mayor of Cleveland. He was staunchly pro-life. Won reelection as governor with 72% of the vote. Appointed Ken Blackwell state treasurer. He was also unapologetically in love with Jesus Christ. Above all, he was just a decent wonderful guy. Didn’t agree with him 26% of the time, but his heart was always in the right place. More people in public life should be like him.
He was a very good Mayor of the City of Cleveland. He was a good Ohio Governor, but as a Senator he was far to Left of Center for my taste.
He was a Republican Mayor of Cleveland. The only one since the Early Seventies.
He was a very good Mayor of the City and brought Cleveland out of the insanity brought on by the horror that was the Kucinich Administration.
“Sounds like a decent guy”
He was a complete a$$hole!
