Well, California did vote “not to retain” one of our State Supreme Court Chief Justices, Rose Elizabeth Bird ( a Jerry Brown appointee). In other news, the Steubenville rapist, Trent Mays had his sex offender status lowered from Tier II to Tier I. Before the case went to trial, the mother of the victim had been asked if she would prefer that he be tried as an adult or rather as a juvenile. She went the charitable route and now, that poop chute is going to torment her the rest of her life, petitioning the court every 3 years to remove him from sex offender registry altogether. It doesn’t pay to be charitable to these types.
