Newly released State Department emails help reveal how a major Clinton Foundation donor was placed on a sensitive government intelligence advisory board even though he had no obvious experience in the field, a decision that appeared to baffle the departments professional staff.
The emails further reveal how, after inquiries from ABC News, the Clinton staff sought to protect the name of the Secretary, stall the ABC News reporter and ultimately accept the resignation of the donor just two days later.
Copies of dozens of internal emails were provided to ABC News by the conservative political group Citizens United, which obtained them under the Freedom of Information Act after more the two years of litigation with the government.

Crooked Hillary.
.....and people died because Hilda wanted to avoid
detection...CLEARLY CRIMINAL!
The FBI director must have concluded or been told that Lynch will never indict Hillary, so the leaks are starting.

This statement exhibits naivete and an unfamiliarity with life inside government. The reality is that the professional staff may have been irked by the appointment, but certainly they were not "baffled". People get jobs for political reasons rather than competence all the time in government. Its just a fact of life inside the bureaucracy.
Well, well I’m giving ABC news some credit for coming out with this. This should be devastating for the WWW!
Follow the $$$
Kind of looks that way. Comey got the memo so the leaks will start springing up all over the place. Its his only option now to protect the integrity of the Bureau. Its an interesting internal political war going on.
If there is no prosecution, at least two dozen fbi agents have their retirement papers ready in their pockets, and deals with book agents
I see the hammer being introduced to gravity. Not good for Hillary.
Leaking does nothing to protect the Bureau's integrity. Resignation and going public are the only things that count. Otherwise, Comey is just as culpable.
Very.
Exactly.
And if it’s really bad, he can hold a press conference, with stacks of papers on a table for the media, and then resign.
" Prior to his State Department appointment, Fernando had given between $100,000 and $250,000 to the William J. Clinton Foundation, and another $30,000 to a political advocacy group, WomenCount, that indirectly helped Hillary Clinton retire her lingering 2008 campaign debts by renting her campaign email list."
later in the article it was disclosed frenando has donated between $1 - $5 million to the Xlintonista Foundation.
great idea the hildabeast had to "rent" her campaign email list to retire her lingerilng 2008 debt.
Why the donor wanted to get on the Intelligence Board is my question?
Was he an agent of a Foreign Intelligence Service? Did he pass classified information to foreign governments? Terrorist groups? Did he illegally profit from insider information?
Throw enough spaghetti in the pile and the public doesn't know what to believe
That is a question nobody is focusing on.
The appointment qualified Fernando for one of the highest levels of top secret access, the emails show. Among those with whom Fernando served on the International Security Advisory Board was David A. Kay, the former head of the Iraq Survey Group and United Nations Chief Weapons Inspector; Lt. Gen. Brent Scowcroft, a former National Security Advisor to two presidents; two former congressmen; and former Sen. Chuck Robb. William Perry, the former Secretary of Defense, chaired the panel.
It is certainly a serious, knowledgeable and experienced group of experts, said Bruce Blair, a Princeton professor whose principal research covers the technical and policy steps on the path toward the verifiable elimination of nuclear weapons. Much of the focus has been on questions of nuclear stability and the risks of nuclear weapons use by Russia and Pakistan.
I suspect that after Obama leaves a flood of revealing books will be written about all the shenanigans that went on in his administration.
