The Donald and the La Raza Judge
Townhall ^ | June 7, 2016 | Pat Buchanan

Posted on 06/06/2016 10:12:49 PM PDT by pissant

Before the lynching of The Donald proceeds, what exactly was it he said about that Hispanic judge?

Stated succinctly, Donald Trump said U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel, who is presiding over a class-action suit against Trump University, is sticking it to him. And the judge's bias is likely rooted in the fact that he is of Mexican descent.

Can there be any defense of a statement so horrific?

Just this. First, Trump has a perfect right to be angry about the judge's rulings and to question his motives. Second, there are grounds for believing Trump is right.

On May 27, Curiel, at the request of The Washington Post, made public plaintiff accusations against Trump University -- that the whole thing was a scam. The Post, which Bob Woodward tells us has 20 reporters digging for dirt in Trump's past, had a field day.

We just don’t understand. Bias on behalf of a designated victim group (i.e. member of the Democrat coalition) is an unquestionable virtue.

Leave it to PB to get it right.

Trump takes it right up to the edge of the edge vs Juez La Raza, doing some serious but righteous innoculation (and jury nullification lol), the crowd is kinda bored trying to follow what's going on, it's Memorial Day weekend, the media pool was kinda empty - and now a week later, it's the telephone game; as the journolist MSM - since they were at Fire Island flat-footed (to them probably the most unholy weekend behind Easter and Christmas) - is trying to wring a few news cycles out of it before Thursday-Friday, when the Ali funeral is front and center; or even sooner, with Sanders quite possibly winning California today.

Meanwhile it's a pfft in the Heartland, Trump said something about some Mexican judge, quelle surprise. So it worked.

Republicans & Independents......you now have the perfect picture of “Republicans” trying to destroy one of their own. Ryan, McConnell, Corker, Graham, Gingrich, etc....are doing what they always do, when the heat gets too high in the kirchen,...jump ship and join the enemy low life!!!! There is not one strong backbone in the entire Republican Establishment political party...not one!!!

I cannot stand Obama, Clinton, Sanders, the entire Democrat party of America destroyers....but...I have to give them credit, when credit is due. They never turn on their own....no matter what.

I am not worried about Donald J. Trump, because he has a backbone of solid steel and will survive and win at the end of the day, because he does not need “whimpy”, no gut, politicians around him to go foward to victory, as the GOP POTUS Primary resulta of tonight will clearly show.

But...America, the nation and its people are in dire straits on many fronts and...I believe we need a political revolution, one that politically destroys both the Democrat & Republican Establishment political parties. So....good folks...get out there and support and vote for Donald j. Trump....for he is only POTUS candidate, on the scene that truly save the dying American Republic!!!

"Having listened to Levin for years, I can not resist initially leaving him on at the beginning of his show to get a whiff of his opening monologue. For weeks now, I find myself pulling the plug almost immediately when his blatant anti-Trump bias and ridicule spews forth. Levin, a supposedly great lawyer, aught to know a lot about legal ethics. After all, it is certain he has been schooled on conflicts of interest since it is a course of study taught to every lawyer and judge. After all it forms the core of a code of professional ethics that all lawyers and judges must adhere to under penalty of disbarment. Yet, Levin has lost his way over his hatred for Trump and now it overshadows everything he says. A common citizen may be entitled to some slack for not understanding legal conflicts of interest rules, but there is unforgiving for an honest lawyer or judge to do so."

Ask yourself, who makes Levin more money in the next 8 years? Railing dementedly against Cankles, or having to pick & choose battles (not a war) against Trump?

It's the almighty dollar - NOT CONSERVATISM - that drives Beck, Levin, Savage, Rush, even all those small-ball talkers upchannel on Sirius. It's that simple.

After the election, there will be talk radio meetings and ad focus groups and sales sub-meetings - but I guarantee you that at least Rushbo knows this without having to see a single memo: Trump gets a honeymoon year (ratings go down), Cankles gets the brimstone (ratings go up).

We are talking about people who literally make tens of millions of dollars by talking out of the other side of the mouth, all of them. A down year in an ad-shrinking market is not what any of them want; how are they going to buy that island in the Bahamas?!

Let’s say my father was a police officer. I get a summons for jury duty. I find out the case is about a police officer killed when the defendant threw a bottle at him. Does anyone think I would be selected to serve on the jury for that trial?

An excellent point that will go right over the heads of those who routinely shirk their civic responsibilities.

See link:

The attorney group leading the lawsuit against Trump are heavily involved in Democrat politics and have paid Bill and Hillary Clinton $675,000 for “speeches”. (link)

The Judge in the lawsuit is an open borders immigration activist with direct ties to San Diego La Raza, and has openly engaged with them on their political endeavors. (link) and (link) including scholarships for illegal aliens.

The Trump lawsuit relies (in part) on testimony from a former disgruntled employee of the Trump Organization who went to work for notorious #NeverTrump activist Glenn Beck. (link)

The Judge then “accidentally” releases court records which provides the media with the names, locations, and contact information of the plaintiffs and witnesses in the case, which fuels the media narrative. (link)

After the “mistaken” release, Judge Curiel reseals the court records. (link)

The Judge is a member of an ethnic legal group, HNBA, whose specific and publicly expressed intentions are to target Donald Trump’s business interests (link)

Thanks for the link. U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel is a POS partisan, collectivist, criminal, conman. This scumbag should not be anywhere near government in a “free” republic.

“[Levin] was railing about DT alienating all Mexicans which he said the Republicans will need in order to win the election.”

Hispanic Americans would be the first to agree with Trump on the possibility of the judge’s bias. As Trump says, it is just common sense.

The ones who hold it against Trump already held it against Trump.

Buchanan has this one tagged.

Geez. Give you an inch and you want a mile?! (Wait, I should be the mile, Parsi the inch).

Got back in last Friday. I asked Jimrob, so if you know Parsifal, tell him to ask JR for permission to land.

honestly, I think that what Trump was doing, and using the TU case to do it, was a brilliant countermove to him and his supporters being labeled racist - normally a hard charge to defend. Trump has poured baking soda on the fire. By getting people talking, by enabling conversation, he's cancelled the label, opening a one-way street into a pretty wide avenue to talk about racism. Why IS an org named "The Race" allowed? What about other non-white racist organizations? How does 'white privilege' really contrast with 'minority privilege'? Why does minority privilege apply to even the most recent immigrant who's never lived the American experience? And, he put LaRaza, etc. (CAIR), on notice that the politics of the race card in a Trump Administration isn't going to work any better than the politics of the woman card.
