Even as he contends that Trump has a right to challenge Judge Curiel, Alberto Gonzalez writes "Curiel is, reportedly, a member of a group called La Raza Lawyers of San Diego. Trump’s aides, meanwhile, have indicated that they believe Curiel is a member of the National Council of La Raza, a vocal advocacy organization that has vigorously condemned Trump and his views on immigration. The two groups are unaffiliated, and Curiel is not a member of NCLR."
HOWEVER:
La Raza Lawyers of California is most definitely affiliated with La Raza.
He's a member of the La Raza Lawyers of California aka the Latino Bar Association of California.

Did Judge Curiel make a misstatement before the cameras?
I don’t understand why Trump doesn’t talk about the judge’s affiliation with La Raza rather than his ethnicity. Not all Mexicans are anti American but all La Raza members, by definition, are racist anti Americans.
The judge once stressed his Mexican heritage as being essential to relationship he built with Mexican government, saluted his own “immigrant” origins, and repeatedly worked with anti-white activist group La Raza.
Judge Gonzalo Curiel even awarded scholarships to illegal immigrants in San Diego in 2014.
While nearly all of the scholarship winners were born in another country Ricardo Elorza bragged about his accomplishments as an illegal.
Mr. Elorza immigration to the United States when he was 11 years old. In college, he led worships at high schools, non-profit organizations, colleges and parks where he talked about the DREAM ACT…. Mr. Elorza wishes to someday tell any student struggling with higher education, “Look, a boy from Oaxaca, who did not know English and is undocumented has now graduated from law school and is an attorney.”

I’m hoping this is a rope a dope strategy. The good Judge is on record as being VERY inflammatory and by releasing the documents he did, broke a core tenet of jurisprudence.
Is there anyone out there needing further explanation regarding Judge Curiel and his connections/associations with the racist organization La Raza?

The judge took an oath to the constitution of the United states
Since his actions show that he is NOT supporting the immigration laws, he should be disbarred after removal from office

Given that the judge belongs to an organization which opposes Trump's politics, an organization which is associated with a group called "No Border Wall" - which directly opposes Trump, his impartiality may reasonably be questioned. His organized opposition to Trump's politics couldn't possibly have played a role in his decision, could it? Naw, that is completely unreasonable to suggest. /s
There shouldn't even be the appearance of a conflict or a bias concerning a party.
The judge subverts law by helping criminals evade the consequences of their crime. He should be removed from the bench and disbarred.
