Vox editor suspended for encouraging riots at Donald Trump rallies

Vox deputy editor Emmett Rensin was suspended by the media site Friday for encouraging people to riot at Donald Trump rallies.

Vox editor-in-chief Ezra Klein said in a statement that Mr. Rensin’s conduct “violated Vox’s standards and Emmett has been suspended as a consequence.”

“We at Vox do not take institutional positions on most questions, and we encourage our writers to debate and disagree,” Mr. Klein said. “But direct encouragement of riots crosses a line between expressing a contrary opinion and directly encouraging dangerous, illegal activity.”

Mr. Rensin posted a series of tweets Thursday night encouraging people to riot at Mr. Trump’s presidential rallies.

They are ignoring how serious those riots are outside the Trump rallies.

Mexican citizens waving Mexican flags and attacking U.S. citizens INSIDE THE UNITED STATES are asking for a war. The Mexicans are violating the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo which gives the United States the right to invade and retake Mexico for its international law violations.

The assaults and violence at the Trump rally in San Jose shows how far gone we are when the police stand by and watch and do nothing. Then the pathetic mayor tries to blame the actions of these criminals on Trump and his supporters.

I wonder how long before patriotic Americans will put up with this anarchy before rising against it.

This is exactly why they took action. If there’s a huge riot then lawsuits against Vox would easily put it out of business. Incitement to riot warrants the imposition of punitive damages almost as a matter of law.

The Secret Service should be contacting him soon. Trump is the presumptive Republican nominee, already receiving SS protection. Encouraging people to riot at a Trump event is indictable and prosecutable, imo.

The lowest, slowest and least desirable common denominator at that poor excuse of a blog comes down to stirring the pot, no matter how negative the outcome might be. Their one sterling quality seems to be to create the purest form of anarchy that can be distilled, without themselves actually being in the middle of the physical confrontations.

Can’t we get tell him something like we know who he is, where he lives and that he is being watched and needs to be careful.

Like:

Don’t walk on dark streets alone.
Be careful where you drive.
Always keep your head on a swivel
