“Lack of parts, maintainers, cannibalization, lack of funds probably have a lot to do with it.”
In the early 1980’s, RAF Lakenheath suffered I think it was at least 7 aircraft crashes in a very short time. Seems every time a Democrat gets into office military maintenance goes to pot.
that has zero to do with the Blue Angles
Female maintaince personnel without the upper body strength to put the proper torque on nuts and bolts?
Another 'first' with Barack Hussein Oblama as Commander-and-Thief.
I was in Jimmy Carter's Air Force.
Highly suspicious.
I believe female airmen are smart enough to use a torque wrench.
Our country and military are going to pot.
The captain sets the tone of the ship.
A traitorous commander-in-chief has Badly affected morale throughout our military supply chain, procurement inspectors and defense contractors included.
Morale is a key element of organizational accountability and quality assurance.
There are chronic maintenance parts availability and Rampant procurement parts fraud.
Obola is systemically toxic to everything in our country.
We need Reagan like never before.
RE: “In case you hadnt noticed, under Obama the best the military can get is pretty bad. We have entire fighter wings that cant fly due to lack of parts and money now”.

Has a lot to do with it if the unit has to skimp on maintenance or extend maintenance intervals due to lack of funding. The Blue Angels aren’t immune to the pennypinching going on in the military right now - in fact, they were actually grounded in 2013 for lack of money and parts. Made Obama look bad, though, so he grudgingly got them a couple bucks.
Might be a potential issue on tanks and ships but aircraft don’t generally have high-torque fasteners. In fact, if anything they’re *low* torque and, at least in civilian service, it’s more likely to be the guys rounding off or breaking aircraft fasteners unintentionally.
...or if your wrist is too limp.
Er, except helicopters, which still have giant Jesus nuts on the rotor heads. However, these weren’t helicopters, and even on those most *guys* can’t break those loose or torque them down without power tools.
yea, it looks like hanger queens are back in style again.
That was under the sequester, where Obama canceled White House tours, air show funding, and all kinds of other government activities that average citizens actually enjoyed. Purely a punitive move so they could blame Republicans for the loss of those things.
The air show teams are normally well-funded because they are highly visible and impressive ambassadors for some of the things that the US government still does very well.

Funding was *never* fully restored. That’s how it works under Obama. Even the re-funded units are having to decide what to cut.
Me too. One of the hardest jobs I ever had was trying to explain to a 3 star (who retired with 4)why he couldn’t just hire TSgts off the street.
BA#6 right after takeoff off the end of the runway. I hope not, but one cause could be G-Lock as the #6 executes an abrupt hard G pull up after rotation on his takeoff. The other 5 were airborne and there was no attempt to eject by the pilot of #6. Not to many double engine failures to cause a crash other than complete turbine failure taking out both engines, but not likely. Other cause could be stab failure or have both flight control computers fail at once, but again why no ejection unless the seat was still pinned?
The parts situation is true, generally, and a horrible situation but I’m not so sure that the same situation obtains for the ‘show’ teams. I would imagine they are given everything they need, but sometimes ‘stuff’ just happens.
Prayers for the brave Navy pilot and his family, also his squadron.
