Obama decided to commemorate Memorial Day (after denouncing the US military from Vietnam to Japan) by calling for "good healthcare" for veterans.
President Obama called for veterans to receive better healthcare and good-paying jobs during a Memorial Day speech at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery.
“We have to be there not only when we need them, but when they need us,” Obama told the crowd of survivors who have lost loved ones in battle.

Obama then makes speeches about needing "Good Healthcare" for veterans.
He KNOWS that DJT is breathing down hard in regards to the veterans.
The VA health care system was rife with corruption and incompetence long before Obama came into office.

Let’s be honest...on 21 July 1930...the problem with the VA started (that was day one of operation), and it has never ceased to be some corrupted system layered across all fifty states. We’d all be better off to terminate the VA and give retired or wounded vets access to some plused-up medicare program with a few extra benefits.

Good health care? Anyone with any sense at the moment would NOT be joining into the military for so long as the Current Occupant or his apostles were in charge, as it is not healthy for ANYBODY to be sucked into that vast social experiment.
When the US Army, US Navy, US Air Force, the USMC and the US Coast Guard are again restored to their rightful positions as REAL military organizations, then recruitment should be extended once again to real Americans, based on their patriotism and fitness for duty, under what may become very trying circumstances.
We do not need any more Nidal Hasans or Bo Bergdahls.

The bad news delivered by the telescreen was that the chocolate ration would be reduced from 30 grams to 20 grams at the start of the following week. Later on in the Ministry of Truth as Winston was correcting information for The Times, it was revealed that the Ministry of Plenty had some time back issued a categorical pledge that there would be no further reduction of chocolate rations during that year. Ironically, one day later, demonstrations were held in praise of Big Brother for increasing the chocolate ration to twenty grams. Winston was stunned at how mindless everyone else seemed to be for forgetting in just a span of twenty four hours that the ration had actually been decreased and not increased.
tyrants will periodically select a few underlings, falsely accuse them and summarily have them executed. This in order to keep others loyal. Shouldn't the people periodically do the same to tyrants?
The ONLY way to fix the VA is to fire all of the Upper management, then put in a rule that ONLY combat VETS can serve in the Upper bureaucracy of the VA.
Then make it mandatory that the only health care any federal elected politician can get is the VA.

Sure, and the GOP has controlled Congress and they haven’t solved anything with the VA.
