A Trump press conference is like watching a big tomcat playing with its food.
Originally a nautical term probably borrowed from the Dutch “houd vast” (hold tight) referring to the importance ..
Is the media doggedly going after Hillary for her Wall Street transcripts? crickets.
Do you know who “Carl” is? Trump called on him often. And “David.” I don’t watch TV so I am wondering.
“He is just going to roast whomever goes against him on a spit.”
The Kennedys were infamous for doing that. They actually roasted a catholic leader over a fire on a spit to get them to turn over their lands to them.
As far as the McLeods, I spelled it wrong..grrr, there was/is two branches of the Clan, sons, one the Isle of Lewis and one, of Harris and part of Skye. I got the book of Scottish Clans and could look it up, but. Anyway, they are originally Norse. The name said to be from the norse word meaning ugly. Leod was supposed to be the son of Olaf the Black.
As far as I understand the motto for both branches is HOLD FAST.
Like most Highland Clans, they got into it with their neighbors, the McDonalds, and ended up on the wrong end of the stick. Funny, the head of the veterans administration is who? NAW, old grudges die dont they?
Good for him.
“Trumps mother was a McCleod. The motto of that Clan is...HOLD FAST.”
Thank you, I did not know that. Sounds right. ;)
WooHoo!!!!
That was an outstanding press conference. Thank you for posting it.
As for Rush, I don’t give a hoot what he plays...he can KMA. Rush is dead to me.

Carl is Fox News political report Carl Cameron. Don't know who the "David" is unless it's David Gregory, formerly of NBC's "Meet the Press" and now a political commentator with CNN.
Thanks for the information...though I think that you missed my reference to Highlander - “There can be only one” refers to 1 survivor of the immortals that were the main characters of that show. 2 branches of the clan - part of the same joke...though there were/are 2 branches, according to you. Again, thanks.
I’d be interested in seeing some source material for that stuff about the Kennedy clan. Its a bit over the top, but then again, lots of folks in olden times in the old country were what we’d call “over the top.”
Thank you. And the guy from New Hampshire who was so eloquent I believe is Al Baldasaro, who should be given credit wherever this video is shown.

It was the fourth Earl Of Cassillis, who was described as “ane werry greedy man” and was the one who was remembered for literally roasting the Abbot of Crossraguel at Dunmure Castle in 1570 to get title to the abbeys lands.
The man was rescued by another branch of the Kennedys of Bargany, who were engaged in a fued with the senior branch.
This in 1570. BTW, very few of the Kennedy leaders died of natural deaths back then.
Wahtever one can say about the Scots, they were unruly and would resort to some of the most horrendous methods of extracting whatever they wanted out of their targets. There was not one Clan who could be claimed as a peaceful bunch as far as I know.
Scottish Clans and Tartans, By Neil Grant.
Cold steel!!!!
Trump train rollin’ !!!
“Romney and Kristol got their butts kicked good too!”
What did Trump say about them?
And where is this mysterious 3rd part candidate that Kristol said would be announced during the weekend.....it’s Tuesday.....
Mc Leod.
He asked if anyone has seen the WSJ article today? Mitt Romney looks like a fool.”
He said Kristol is a spoiler and has about been in tears looking for a 3rd party candidate.
