I don't know if Kristol had or has as much influence as Norquist. We know little about what's really going on behind closed doors until after the fact and it's too late.
We haven't heard much from Norquist lately.
Hopefully in the not too distant future we'll hear little from Kristol as well.

I mean..this is absolutely unreal! Who the eff do they think they are? They can get the hell out of the thing since they are not conservative anyway. THEY ARE NOT, conservative.
This bull has been spewed since the dam Bush/Clinton cartel started running things. They try and tell everyone what the hell conservative is, problem is, it isnt them or what they claim.
I challenge anyone to go to the plank R Reagn ran on and compare it to Trumps. Nearly the same. Hell even the social issues are pretty much the same, although I would agree that Trump isnt as socially conservative.
Go ahead, the planks ore on the net and anyone can compare them. Heck, even Mike Lee said last week that the list Trump put out on his choices for SCOTUS were the best he has ever seen. Whats that say? And Mike Lee was not for Trump some time back.

Not sure why trump had to go all, name calling on Billy. It’s not like he even mentioned trump. Just posted a teaser to something he heard or probably knows about.
It is the “New US”. If you perceive someone may possibly have some negative comment or thought whether true or just (again) perceived.... You should disparage them. Their family. Their friends. Anyone who has been in contact with them over the past two years and ninety days.
Or just kill them outright.

Will Kristol start a new party? Will they run a write in bid? Will they try to take over an existing Party like Reform Party? Anyone who runs on this ticket is DOOMED. Mittens/Beck? They will be shark food for Trump.

Once again, the GOPe looks to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. First with McLame, then Romney. But this? This is telling the voters in the Republican Primaries “screw you, the GOPe is going to run its own third party candidate.” That would be the proverbial turd in the punch bowl. And to have Hillary win in 2016, just out of spite against Trump because he threatens the status quo. Bill Kristol, why don’t you and your clique just quit the Republican Party, move to Minnesota and join the DFL. Your junior high mentality will fit in well there, though the fact that you did not go to junior high in Minnesota might count against you.
