Libertarian presidential candidate Gary Johnson said Monday he "absolutely" stands by his preferred running mate's comment comparing Donald Trump's immigration plan to Nazi Germany.
"Absolutely, absolutely. In New Mexico here, is my door going to be knocked down because I'm going to get checked for papers?" Johnson, who served as New Mexico's governor for two terms, when asked by CNN's Jake Tapper on "The Lead."
Former Massachusetts Gov. Bill Weld -- who is expected to be picked alongside Johnson to run on the Libertarian Party ticket at a nominating convention this weekend -- told The New York Times on Thursday that Trump's plan to remove the estimated 11 million undocumented immigrants from the U.S. reminded him of "Kristallnacht," or the "Night of Broken Glass."

Bill Weld and Gary Johnson are even more stupid than I thought.
The stoner from the Land of Enchantment speaks.
I expect that from libertarians for whom national sovereignty isn’t a central value.
The reference in that light is both tasteless and ghoulish.
Do Johnson and Weld believe in America? Apparently not.
One reason why in a federal election voting Libertarian is stupid, and I can’t believe went for this guy in 2012, I was stupid myself back then.

Not stupid. Evil. Kate Steinle and thousands of others Americans like her lying dead on the street murdered by a deportable criminal aliens is the Holocaust here.
You know, it seems to me that the Libertarian Party (such as it is) has been totally hijacked by some Cheap Labor Express Group. I remember reading their official platform a couple of years ago and found little in it I disagreed with.
However, looking at it a couple of days ago, it seemed to me that it had been almost completely rewritten and bore little resemblance to what I remembered, and in particular, the STRONG implied support for illegal immigration and globalism was shocking and definitely something not there two years ago.
Keeping people out of a country is not the same as putting millions in ovens.
proving once again, that no matter my libertarian leanings, that this bunch is not ready for prime time.
Interesting that the Libertarian candidate is suddenly getting extensive interviews and media coverage. Gee, couldn’t be because the elites are clinging to hope that it might derail Trump?
This is actually a good development for Trump. These clowns will draw more votes from hitlery than Trump.
The danger for Trump would have been if the libturds had nominated someone (eg. the Pauls) who would run to Trump’s right on some issues.
Weld and Johnson. Now there are a couple of light in the loafers pixies if I’ve ever seen one.
Sorry.
Mental midget.
... our enemies will gladly set up dozens of "Holocausts."
Sounds like a Democrat candidate.
Fringe lunatic libertarian though.
