Rubio called Trump a dangerous ‘con man.’ Now he says Trump should be president.

Rubio is on board, saying that he plans to attend the Republican convention in Cleveland and that he would be “honored” to help Trump however he can.

“I want to be helpful. I don’t want to be harmful, because I don’t want Hillary Clinton to be president,” Rubio said in a CNN interview that will be aired Sunday.

Long a star of the mainstream conservative movement, Rubio is one of the starkest symbols of the GOP’s rapid capitulation to Trump. Nearly every prominent Republican — from lawmakers to governors to former White House officials — has acquiesced as polling shows Trump’s support building.

...

Trump thanked Rubio indirectly by issuing a tweet Thursday night supportive of a bid: “Poll data shows that @marcorubio does by far the best in holding onto his Senate seat in Florida. Important to keep the MAJORITY. Run Marco!”

Such is politics. I am careful what I say/think about others running in the primaries because one of them is going to be our nominee. If I am careful, I don’t know why public figures can’t be.

For Rubio, this may not seem like a contradiction. Quite the contrary.

Carly Fiorina said there was no way Cruz could beat Hillary and that Ted would say anything to get elected.

Then she became his running mate.

That lasted a week.

Well, at least he came on board now. Better that what Cruz is doing, still trying to undermine Trump, even if that only helps Hillary.

To a man, every past player in the NBA who played against the Detroit Pistons and Bill Laimbeer absolutely HATED the guy. But off the record, every single one of them would have loved playing WITH the guy.............So it is what is is...........LOL!

This is how it usually is. You fight hard to win, then you support the winner. However, Jeb, @sshat Bush, doesn’t see it that way, nor does Mitt POS Romney, or the Bushes or even Ted Cruz.

Proof he does nothing but follow the direction the wind is blowing any particular day. He has no values.

Trump needs fulfilment insurance in a VP. The establishment would love for Rubio to succeed to the presidency.

In campaigns, you say stuff you probably shouldn’t; and it’s not unusual to reconcile afterward.*
Trial lawyers do similar over-the-top sophistry. I object! OK, I withdraw the question!

*Admittedly, this campaign’s slings and arrows have been below the belt on occasion.

Lesson: do not attempt this with Donald!

Yep. And if it was your first foray into politics, you might have mistaken Mr. Rubio as genuine when he uttered such bile. Now he wants to support Daddy too. Go Big Daddy! Go!

My guess is that this was pre-planned behind the scenes with exactly that in mind.

Rubio, Ryan and Cruz are lying, destructive filth. and should be in jail for what they’re trying to do to this country. If the three of them were on an aircraft that went down in shark infested waters, I wouldn’t bat an eye.
