The Daily 202: Trump’s attacks on the GOP’s most prominent Latina ... should alarm Republicans

Complete Headline: The Daily 202: Trump’s attacks on the GOP’s most prominent Latina, Susana Martinez, should alarm Republicans

During a 65-minute speech in Albuquerque last night, Donald Trump laced into New Mexico Republican Gov. Susana Martinez. He blamed her for the state’s economic problems, for the growing number of food stamp recipients and for not doing more to reject Syrian refugees. The billionaire even mused about moving to the state to run for governor himself.

[Snip]

[Trump's] language was quite gendered.

Trump called Hillary a "low-life" and then went on to imitate the way she talks, raising his voice to a high-pitched yell. "I will never say this but she screams and drives me crazy," Trump said. "I can’t listen."

He once again referred to Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) as "Pocahontas," a reference to her claims of Native American heritage. "She is probably the senator that's doing just about the least in the United States Senate," he said. "She's a total failure. She said she was an Indian. She said because her cheekbones were high, she was an Indian."

The most offensive language, though, came from one of the warm-up speakers. David Chavez, a former state lawmaker, compared voting for Clinton because she's a woman to drinking bleach because it looks like water. "I've heard people say: I don't know who to choose: Trump or Hillary. Even Bill Clinton chose other women. So you should, too," Chavez said.

In this rather long screed, the newsers at the Wa-Poo argue that the Donald should lay off of libtards and Rinos or it will cost him the election!

Jeb would have meekly complied.

Mittens never laid a glove on Obama.

McCain actually endorsed Obama!

Trump is going after Hillary.

No wonder the Washington Post is upset - Trump is not following the script.

Hey WaPo

He attacked her for being “latina”?

No?

Then why even bring that up?

lol...Trump did a drive-by on Martinez. It wasn’t even full auto. I don’t see the problem. She chose to not show at the rally.

No it shouldn’t. Trumps willingess to call out incomnpetence and fire failure is a strong point in his favor.

The DC Establishement still does NOT get it. YOU ARE FIRED. We have tolerated your corrupt arrogant defiant incompetence too long.

Why shouldn’t the Latina who has attacked Trump repeatedly be concerned? Seems to ME she isn’t the one drawing record crowds.

Trump should take advice from the Washington Post. I’m sure they want what’s best for him.

drinking bleach because it looks like water

How wonderful.

Well said. And I would never vote for someone based on gender or race !

Never never never because she is a woman? Honestly on the violent world stage now we need good Men.

God made us different for many reasons, gosh hold the door open for me please, yes, we both like it! LOL

Happy Memorial Day!

This is hilarious, and is only offensive to those who approve of Hillary’s enabling of Bill’s many “indiscretions.”

“She said she was an Indian. She said because her cheekbones were high, she was an Indian”

True.

It is so simple to say these things.

She said it. It is ludicrous on so many levels.

It discredits EVERYTHING she ever says or does.

There is no reason to argue with her Marxist drivel or take her seriously.

Yawn, same newspaper said two months ago that if Trump didn’t embrace PC he’d never get the delegates and win the nomination.

“Then why even bring that up?”

Because they are racist pieces of crap that see everything through a racial lens, even when such does not exist.

He’s really saying Martinez would be of no help in winning NM or nationally as the VP choice. He should contest NM though; it is more winnable than at least a dozen other states.
