Veterans Affairs Secretary Robert McDonald on Monday compared the length of time veterans wait to receive health care at the VA to the length of time people wait for rides at Disneyland, and said his agency shouldn´t use wait times as a measure of success because Disney doesn´t either. "When you got to Disney, do they measure the number of hours you wait in line? Or what´s important? What´s important is, what´s your satisfaction with the experience?" McDonald said Monday during a Christian Science Monitor breakfast with reporters. "And what I would like to move to, eventually, is that kind

VA secretary just won “King of the morons” award. Let him be told, you have to wait 6 months for his appointment by HIS doctor and see if he thinks that is ok.
Disney won’t kill you with apathy.
If there was a market for “stupidity”, Obama could wipe out the federal debt by bottling his administration.
This statement by McDonald is what you hear from someone who is failing.

This statement by McDonald is what you hear from a snotty, juvenile left winger.
Actually I know for a fact that Disney monitors wait times - because I read a case study on it and their implementation of the new process they implemented where you get a certain number of fast passes depending on the package you get. Guys an idiot.
Amen to that!!!
This a-hole along with Obama and all of the congresscritters should be forced to wait in line for medical care behind all of the veterans. I bet they would be all for measuring wait time then.
What an ass. Disney is for entertainment. The VAnis for health care in case the idiot isn’t aware
“Sergio :” People waiting at Disney...want to.
People waiting at the VA...have to.” “
Hey......how bout that ?
“You’re FIRED!!!!!”
Don, I just got off the phone with both my Senators and Congressman asking that they immediately look into this outrageous statement. All of their staff had already read the VA Secretary’s comments and were preparing statements for their boss.
My Recommendation: Demand a formal televised apology and resignation. If he won’t resign; Impeach him!
Disney does not kill their customers and pocket bonus money for doing so.
“Small World is 40 minutes right now.”
You had to mention that ride didn’t you? In retaliation:
It’s a small world after all
It’s a small world after all
It’s a small world after all
It’s a small, small world
It’s a small world after all
It’s a small world after all
It’s a small world after all
It’s a small, small world

It’s a small world after all
It’s a small, small world
It’s a small world after all
It’s a small world after all
It’s a small world after all
It’s a small, small world
Ping to #115.
To the last, I grapple with thee; From Hell’s heart, I stab at thee; For hate’s sake, I spit my last breath at thee.
I hope he is fired by tomorrow.
We should give all veterans a special card they can use at any medical professional’s office or clinic or hospital and we should pay their bills. I would also allow as long as they visit a vetted mental health professional ONE CODE FOR ALL MENTAL HEALTH BILLING so that vets can get mental health without anyone but their provider knowing what it was for. Let’s say unlimited physical coverage, and $x allowed per month for mental health. BUT NO ONE SHOULD KNOW WHETHER THEY WENT IN FOR PTSD, MARRIAGE COUNSELING, ANYTHING.
This would be a good way to spend tax dollars. There are a few and this one is one of them. Let our vets get whatever doctors or clinics they need. Unlimited though with oversight for egregious cheating. Hell, if you’ve defended this country well, I’ll even pay for your gender reassignment. ;)
The failures at the VA is for the same reason as the failures at the post office. It’s government workers who can’t be fired. And there are a lot of people working there who don’t believe veterans deserve the treatment they’re being paid to give them. That shows their stupidity.
A tech was pushing me on a gurney to the renal lab and told me “I’m a vet just like you. And let me tell you, these people here don’t believe you’ve earned the care. They’ll say they do, but, believe me, they don’t.”
