In 2013, Michael Turner saved the life of a 16-year-old girl who had been viciously attacked and stabbed in a Target store in Pennsylvania. And instead of thanking him for protecting its customers and preventing them from being murdered, Target is now suing him for his heroism and alleging he acted irresponsibly.
The attacker, Leon Walls, was convicted of attempted homicide for stabbing then-16-year-old Allison Meadows in 2013.
Security footage from the store shows Walls grabbing Meadows and stabbing her before Turner tackles the knife-wielding perp and chases him out of the store with a baseball bat.

The boycott needs to show normal Americans have the money and will punish those companies like Target endangering young girls.

Here’s the real problem. The hero did a very stupid thing:

Maybe the guy hadn’t yet paid for the knife he stabbed the girl with and Target said Turner helped him get away....

This can only add to Target’s troubles...and that doesn’t make me too upset. There is something seriously wrong with the judgment and the morality of their officers and directors, and if they have a big drop in sales that might get these people replaced by better people. Either way, I’m not shopping there until they reverse their firearms and their bathroom policies. This incident is just cream on that cake.
Maybe Target is upset because the knife man didn’t follow the girl into the ladies restroom where he could be ‘safe’ from the bat man. (Sarc)
Not attempting to suggest guilt by association, but isn’t the headquarters of Target in Minnesota? I don’t think this latest insanity is going to help their cause. It could actually accelerate the demise or at the very least their recognition that maybe they need some guidance from intelligent folks rather than the PC brigade.
The difference between “ people of Walmart” and “people of Target” is that the “people of Walmart” aren’t generally trying to rape or kill the folks around them with the full support of the store management.
How the hell is Targay harmed by his actions? Heck, he should be suing Targay.
Would Target rather have this guy roam the store, or be stuck in the entrance/exit as he leaves the store?
Gotta disagree. The criminal had options. He could have dropped the knife. He could have surrendered. He could have side-slipped the hero, and ran into the parking lot. It's not the hero's fault that the cowardly criminal ran into the store.
I'd love to be on this jury.

How do they know the girl was going to be his only victim? He could have intended to kill multiple people which is not uncommon. Would they prefer the hero to presume the knife wielding attacker was just going to leave peacefully and not continue his attack? They seem more worried about the hero accidentally hurting someone with his bat than an attempted murderer running through their store with a knife.
Someone should chase the Target executives and board away with a baseball bat.

The hero courageously saved a young girls life. Who are you to speculate and second guess his actions after the fact?
Tell us about all the violent, armed felons you disarmed and did everything perfectly.
Target’s business decline is a good picture of the associated population decline that goes with leftist doctrines.
