Words have shelf life and both words, conservative and liberal, are meaningless. The new battle is between globalists and patriots.

What specifics do you need?

Trump has won more GOP votes than any GOP candidate ever has.
And won a larger % of conservatives and evangelicals than Cruz did.

Trump will beat Hillary like a drum.

The GOPe in the House and Senate, with very few exceptions (notably, most of the Freedom Caucus) have burned the conservative, grassroots voters who put them there.

As far as I’m concerns, if they slap a conservative label on during he campaign, but don’t follow through when in the Swamp, they haven’t earned the label.

So, it’s inaccurate to conflate CINOs with actual conservatives, based on how they act on, or betray, those principles.

More than that - it’s freedom and self-determination vs. tyranny and authoritarianism.

He put together a coalition that steamrolled 17 other canidates

Trump didn’t steamroll anybody. He only got a majority of the votes once at a time there were only three candidates. I’m not trying to minimize his nomination but it is hardly a juggernaut. He desperately needs to put the party together to win the election.

I still see you are in denial. The TDS will eventually wear off.

Trump has gotten more primary votes than any other candidate in history. We are witnessing a political upheaval greater then 1860 election and some are so blind as to not recognize what is happening. A watershed event.

Seven minutes before that:

Conservative means open borders, free trading H-1B loving TPP globalist. Therefore I guess I am not a conservative.

Exactly. Conservative means one thing to one person something different to another. Meaningless.

Actually, there is conservative by the generally accepted definition of being small central government, limited spending, strengthened state powers, more individual freedom vs. collectivism, an effective military not handcuffed by suicidal ROEs, and most importantly, adherence to our founding documents that acknowledges the citizens’ ability to govern themselves vs. being ruled.

Then there are the progressive, big government GOP politicians who use the term to get elected. Hell, even Skippy pretended to be the second coming of President Reagan a few times in his 2008 campaign. Made me sick.

PS - and of course, not being taxed to death to fund the federal leviathan.

Those are issues that need to be addressed AFTER we build a wall, stop illegal immigration, curtail legal immigration and slow down or stop off shoring and de industrialization. Those "conservative" issues will have to wait.

Thank you.

You're welcome.

Never forget, whoever can control the terms controls the debate, and they will if you let them.

I disagree. Given the entropy-driven, soul-sucking swamp that is Washington, if you don’t keep those core principles while serving, they won’t be there when you (generic you) get out.

You can actually do both at the same time.

I never liked King. He is one of those that talks tough, but I never remember him getting anything done.

What the idiots in Congress don’t recognize is that there is a new Sherrif in town.
