Doing well, thanks. So glad you are loving that pressure cooker!! I finally got the cookbook I ordered (with mine) about a week ago.

Haven’t had a chance to go completely through it, yet.

How are you? Staying busy?

Very busy!
My workplace has been driving me nuts!
LOL
I am looking for cooking times for a ham and white bean dish.
Nearest I can tell from looking on line is 30 minutes in our cooker.
I was amazed to have cooked a pot roast in that amount of time!
It’s fun!
I have to get a cook book for more recipes, too!

Wait, wait, WHAT pressure cooker? My best friend in Dallas just bought a UUUGE pressure cooker. It was so beautiful!

What brand are you talking about, here?

Pressure cookers seem to be all the rage right now, in my little universe of pals and compatriots.

The cookbook I got is the one that was advertised when I was buying my pressure cooker.

It’s specifically for our type of cookers. I’ll try to find a link. ;-)

When they were doing the scenery for Cats, I passed the back of the theatre every day on my way to and from work. They were doing it out on the sidewalk for some reason and then moving it back in when it was finished. It was so exciting to see these fascinating objects being constructed.

Then the women in my family went to see Cats and then to the Russian Tea Room. What a wonderful day. Great memories from the early 80's.

Well, that doesn’t really change anything I said but it does make one wonder if Trump is really able to take the high road and ignore this guy’s tweets. Is this the same one whose wife worked for Cruz?

I am driving and hiking around in awe every day, it is so spectacular. And every day my mountains (I am taking ownership of them-I feel very possessive) look different with the varying clouds, sun, shadows on them.

Don’t forget NC! From here, when we cross into NC it has a ragged, wild beauty with deeper hollers and higher peaks. Probably the wildness WV has ;)

Hello back! I’m late to the party - went to town and bought a door and engine stand and milk.

Not related to each other ;)

Cool, I’ll use it too if you don’t mind Jane. I bought a little pressure cooker to cook beans, then wished I bought a bigger one after I made pot roast in it once. Fast and tender!

It rained off and on all day, and now the mountains have those wisps of ‘smoke’ all between the ridges. Spectacular! I’ve never seen such a thing until I moved here; I don’t miss the Sierras and the big trees one bit! The closest thing I've seen would be the marine layer burning off on the west coast. It goes back out to sea down on the oceanfront, but creeps back up the hills and mountains a little further inland. Have you had a storm cloud "break" over the mountaintop like a wave yet? Those can be impressive, and a little scary if it's a violent thunderstorm.
