We’d be better off reading The Onion than the NYT.
I read the article and I would say the headline did not match the the rest. It did not say he was bad. But it came to conclusions that were not backed by the reporting. It was just a NYT editor doing a hit job.

I have a nice boss. No Trump, but good guy, fair, etc. He calls me, and ALL the girls “hon”. Just how he is and it’s not some silly, sexually charged statement. Simply his mannerism. I’ve worked with him 11 years and have zero complaints.
I’ve also had bosses who were like that. It was innocent and not meant to be demeaning or intended to be harrassment or anything of that nature.
I also years ago, had a woman boss, who would ask us men if she looked nice, etc. She wore some pretty dresses, I must admit. But again was nothing of an improper nature involved.
Sometimes I wonder if our culture has gone off the deep end with sexualizing eveyrthing.
The media is being so accommodating in confirming what everyone already knows. Talk about jujitsu... sheesh.
How come the NYT is still in business? Whose money are they using now?
But we are all tired of having to be on pins and needles all the time when we address anyone, whether it's our superiors, our subordinates, our co-workers, our neighbors or the nice person at the grocery store check out or at the hardware store. We so fearful of "offending" someone that we are being denied one of the most basic rights we have: the right to BE OURSELVES.
Trump has tapped into that frustration, and for all of us he is saying KNOCK IT OFF!
A lady called the Mark Simone show today and related a story about a reletively who wrked for Trump. The reletively kid got very sick, Trump told him to come to work when he could but to give higher priority to doing what he had to to help the kid. Trump also put his jet at the employees disposal in the event that the employee had to take the kid somewhere for medical care. The guy ended up needing 2 flights on the jet. This story left me gobsmacked. Simone, who knows Trump personally said that there are HUNDRED of these stories that were never publcized.
