Will they all promise to
commit ritual suicide if Mr. Trump wins?
Not that anyone’s word in the GOP actually means anything.

They might look honestly at Trump’s popularity. If there is a better candidate, that person would have already knocked Trump out of the primaries. As it turned out, the race wasn’t even close.
So the people don’t like the GOP establishment. It is time for the establishment (punditry as well as politicians) to pay attention to what the people want, and to go along with it. If they don’t want to, well, they can just go get lost. The voice of the people will not be silenced.

Spoiled elitist brats. They should run to their country club, pony up to the bar and lament that end of the CHEAP LABOR EXPRESS... ‘cause that’s what all the hoopla is about.

"Those involved concede that an independent campaign at this late stage is probably futile, and they think they have only a couple of weeks to launch a credible bid. But these Republicans including commentators William Kristol and Erick Erickson and strategists Mike Murphy, Stuart Stevens and Rick Wilson are so repulsed by the prospect of Trump as commander in chief that they are desperate to take action."
Remember, these were the kind of guys telling the rest of us to compromise and put up with the likes of Shrub / Dole / McCain, etc. for years to avoid something worse. Regardless of whether Trump wins or not, we'll never go for that "lesser of two evils" garbage BS again. They've permanently lost whatever credibility they ever had. Trump, if nothing else, exposed the charade.

This is a symptom of the complete inability for the GOPe to spend one microsecond in introspection to check out WHY Trump is so popular. Trump “broadened the tent” much to the chagrin of pseudo-neo-conservatives who can’t see the advantage to sweep in folks (the great unwashed who are right-center as opposed to haard right). These people are are sick and tired of the Uni-Party activities of the so-called Congressional Leaders who caved to Barry. Revel in the GOP victories and help re-shape the GOP, not commit political assassination of the elected leader.

It will be Republicans themselves who destroy this party.
Some in the Republican leadership have lost their way.
They have no regard for or interest in the citizenry, only in their own careerist opportunities for graft.
