Mitt Romney devoted an entire speech back in March to attacking Donald Trump in an effort to steer conservatives away from the businessman. Since then, he’s continued hammering the real estate mogul on one issue after another, including Trump’s tax returns. Romney said earlier this week that Trump's refusal to release them was “disqualifying.”
“I don’t know what’s wrong with Mitt Romney. It’s so strange,” American Conservative Union Chairman Matt Schlapp said on Fox News. “He as a candidate didn’t even release his taxes until Harry Reid took to the floor and claimed that maybe he didn’t pay any income taxes at all, and now all of a sudden Mitt Romney is chastising Donald Trump for not releasing his taxes.”
He continued: “A lot of us voted for him [Romney]. I voted for him, I held my nose, he wasn’t a conservative, and now he thinks he’s channeling conservatives in attacking Donald Trump over this. You know what I’d like Mitt Romney to do? Go home and be quiet, or, start focusing on Hillary Clinton. She’s our political opponent.”

There is something pathological in Romney’s attitude. It may actually be about the number of votes Trump is getting, and Mitt knowing he was not anyone’s 1st choice in 08 or 12. Where Trump won and was a lot of folks 1st choice from the get-go.

Romney is a punk, I just had to get that out. Like his Dad, who proudly refused to back Barry Goldwater in 1964. Listen up Mitt, you did nothing for the first four years of Obama’s reign, you ran a half-hearted campaign in 2012, said nothing again, against a now malevolent Obama, and now suddenly you’ve found your voice. You screwed Massachusetts, you screwed you Lt. Governor who you didn’t support in her run to succeed you, and you’ve screwed the country by losing to Hussein. As others have said, “Shut the f... up and go home.”
Jealousy, in any competitive endeavor is a huge factor. I competed in a music competition contest. Outside of the contest people really liked my music. I actually won a $100 prize for one of my pieces. But on the contest site. People with musical conservatory diplomas congratulated each other for dull works, lacking in inspiration, and following all rules. Likewise this year, in the GOP primaries. Romney with a long political pedigree, and a multi time loser, goes after political neophyte Trump who had a natural talent, but hasn’t gone through, “ The Proper Channels”

Summary: Compared to Trump, Romney is an abject failure in the world outside of politics. And now Trump has easily bested Romney in politics. Maybe sniveling self-centered know-it-all Romney just can't handle the competition when there's a real Alpha male on the playing field.
There is no mystery why Mittens doing this. He was always in the tank for the ‘Rats. It has only now become extremely noticeable to a few Republican “leaders.”. The voters who stayed home in 2012 are not surprised. He is now, and always has been, a Quisling.

My understanding is that Bain has a lot to lose if PR is not bailed out.
They come from different worlds and Trump seems to seriously offend his sensibilities in a way no one else can. Mittens probably can’t begin to imagine how the same party would nominate the both of them.

on his knees, and now does what he did to Gov. Palin,
and then the American public, and the Speaker,
and Sen. Thompson, and .....
The reason why Romney needs to shut up is because he is putting the country in greater danger... how? Because in my opinion Trump makes this country more safe real time challenging what Obama is currently doing. Romney is just changing the subject from things like Obama’s administration’s current day by day handling of refugees to “Trump still hasn’t released his taxes”... Basically Romeny’s stupidness is putting this country in danger as he talks (real time).
