Trump knows he needs to bring more voters in to win. Ryan knows this too. Then Ryan and his fellow travelers need to stop helping Hillary.
No Conservative could possibly be complaining about the Conservative creds of their candidate when the opponent is Hillary or Bernie. What do they suppose their complaining and withholding support will accomplish aside from the faint hope they can hijack the convention?

What kind of catharsis are you suggesting happen? A process similar to the resolution of arguments in a marriage.
"My way or the highway" doesn't resolve disagreements when there is a significant divide. Hearing one another's fundamental concerns and finding common ground to move forward together can resolve vast divides.
If Trump is the negotiator he claims, he knows that. Ultimately, he'll be "married" to the Speaker. It's in his interest to bridge the divide.

Rinsey and Ryan ET al are only there for their own personal power and enrichment. Trump sacrificed when he has somewhere better he could be.
