(CNSNews.com) The administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) said on Friday that the agency is very good at making rules requiring individuals, businesses and state and local governments to comply with laws related to protecting the environment.
If anybody knows anything about EPA and writing rules we rock at it, Gina McCarthy said at the Climate Action 2016 summit held last week in Washington, D.C.
McCarthy said the rules the agency puts forth are legal and based on sound science.
She also called the U.S. Supreme Courts decision to stop the implementation of the Clean Power Plan to allow lawsuits by states and the energy sector to play out in the courts only a pause in the EPAs efforts to strictly regulate greenhouse gas emissions.
While there is a pause, theres no pause in the action in the United States towards renewable energy and energy efficiency, McCarthy said. We are going in exactly the direction our rule demanded and were doing it because the markets demanding it.
We could not be in better shape then we are today, McCarthy said.
McCarthy also said her agency is moving forward on the Clean Energy Incentive Program part of the Clean Power Plan -- to encourage investment in wind and solar energy.
McCarthy told engineer and entertainer Bill Nye, who interviewed McCarthy, that she had no doubt that the United States would live up to its obligation under the United Nations climate change agreement the Obama administration signed onto in December in Paris.
and it is getting to the point where the public is getting to ready to rock in finding lamp posts.
They crawled out from under rocks....if that’s what they mean.
“Engineer” Bill Nye?
That alone is an improper (illegal) description for somebody not licensed but practicing as an engineer.
May the Trumpster put them all on the unemployment roles.
It’s following them they can’t seem to get a grip on........................
EPA Soldier: Im afraid we lost them, sir.
Cargill: Damn it! Well, then you find em, and you get em back in the dome! And to make sure nobody else gets out, I want roving death squads around the perimeter 24-7! I want 10,000 tough guys, and I want 10,000 soft guys to make the tough guys look tougher! And heres how I want them arranged: tough, soft, tough, tough, soft, tough, soft, soft, tough, tough, soft, soft, tough, soft, tough, soft!
[pause]
Soldier: Sir, Im afraid youve gone mad with power.
Cargill: Of course I have. Have you ever tried going mad without power? Its boring, no one listens to you.
Rock like the world’s most destructive earthquake.
They rock at finding within rules and laws imaginary words, meanings and authority that only they have the ability to see.
“Gina McCarthy lies, she’s a prime example of why the EPA should be eliminated. “
I hope she’s #1 on Trump’s list of Termination Notices on 1/20/17!
Well live it up Gina because the party is almost over. Trump rocks at closing stuff down.
Bump!
Thank you Richard Nixon.
Their "work," once begun, is silent, but effective, through administration after administration, even "conservative" Administrations, such as Reagan's.
One of Trump's first actions should be to ferret out who they are, and where they are, and find a way to cut the cost of government by firing such arrogant destroyers of liberty.
And I’m told every day about the danger of an Article V state amendments convention. The real danger resides in not having one.
And all those “rocks” of regulations you’ve piled on top of American businesses, especially our energy companies, is largely responsible for our wrecked national economy.
Cut off Gina McCarthy, her family members, and her entire neighborhood from all fossil fuels. All of ‘em. No coal-fired electricity, gasoline, heating fuels, nothing that cones from below earths surface.
Today!
Air Miles McCarthy was in the city of her employer? I don't believe it.
The good news is that they're able to field two full softball teams from high-ranking Obamaites so they're never without a game.
“McCarthy also said her agency is moving forward on the Clean Energy Incentive Program part of the Clean Power Plan — to encourage investment in wind and solar energy.”
If it requires incentives... it’s a bad investment.
