In the end, it was the voters of Indiana last week who effectively gave the country the outcome that had loomed for months. The 2016 election is likely to pit Hillary Clinton, who is disliked by a majority of voters, against Donald Trump, disliked by a greater majority of voters.
If the rise of Trump has no obvious precedent, neither does an election like this. Clinton, whose buoyant favorable ratings in the State Department convinced some Democrats that she could win easily, is now viewed as unfavorably as George W. Bush was in his close 2004 reelection bid. Trump is even less liked, with negative ratings among nonwhite voters not seen since the 1964 campaign of Barry Goldwater.

If Trump had as high negatives as the MSM claims he has, he wouldn't have gotten as many votes as he has, even among Republicans.
In the general election he will also get Dem and Independents voting for him, to "Make America Great Again".
This is a speech during the primaries.
The anti-American crowd hates Trump. They are also the only ones who will vote for Hillary.
I remember the first time I heard this birdcage liner of a newspaper called the “Washington Compost.” It was LTC Oliver North.
It’s the WaPo. Leftist crap articles like this is what they do.
If Trump has 40 million supporters, that’s still over 260 million who don’t support him.
Not saying that he’s that unpopular, but it doesn’t take a very high percentage of the population to fill an arena.
I find Trump very likable in a number of different ways.
And I was a person who could not stand him and had zero respect for him when he announced.
Things change, perceptions are fluid. He won me over.
Hillary has the negatives, not Trump. They just say he has negatives to make him seem equal to Hillary. But it’s bunk.
Good point, but has anyone compared Trump’s audiences to Clinton’s? That would give an indicator of relative popularity. Bernie can fill arenas, but Hillary doesn’t seem to be able to fill that kind of venue. In the end it doesn’t matter the number of registered voters in each party, or the answers to poll questions. It only matters who goes out and votes. The 200 million who don’t vote don’t count. While it is only anecdotal, rally attendance is pretty consistent around the country and shows a big enthusiasm gap for Trump over Hillary.
Yes they’re both hated.
Trump hated mostly be the left, and some on the right.
Hillary hated by the right, and some on the left.
Where’s the love?
Media just repeats lies over and over until they become the truth. Don’t think it will work with Trump. The more I listen to him—esp. when he was on Oprah 25 years ago, the more I admire and like him and he is still saying the same things.
Nothing is worse than that evil, Marxist, male-hating Hillary Clinton. She is pure evil and a spawn of the devil.

And then it tunes put he was one of the DC Obama journalists who secretly conspired to get Obama elected by manipulating the new cycle.
This far left con man is pack at the Compost !
Wow.
Trump will get moire likeable when scrutinized to those who dislike him now. Hillary, not so much.
Dare I say-—Landslide?
I imagine Hillary will talk to some of her ole friends at NSA to spy on Trump’s cellphone conversations. If I were him I’d have a different person buy a different cellphone every day just to drive them crazy. He can afford it. All of them throwaway phones. You’ll see her hair turn gray(er) in real-time.
I think so. A winning message is a winning message.
