This is so true. For too long presidents have won elections with less than half the vote and low voter turn out to begin with. Even with about only a quarter of the population choosing them, they then procede as if they have the mandate to rule. If Trump taps even a good fraction of the so called monster vote, he is unbeatable, even with whatever establishment and neo con nonsense thrown at him.

Not trying to be a pessimist here, but let’s stay realistic. Um, “monster vote”…?
I do think Trump was the best viable choice, but this still looks like a longshot at the moment.
Problem is the demographics of the electoral college have been creeping ever leftwards since at least 2000, if not prior. Consider that Bush’s 2004 reelection was considered a ‘mandate’ +2.5% net popular vote—yet a mere 17 electoral vote difference could’ve given it to Kerry instead.
We’ve had 12 years of increasingly shrill Progressivism since then. Which is a long time, and much has changed.
Will Obama unleash his Jihadists before or after the election? How many Americans will Obama try to murder? Will it be car bombs? Beheadings? Shutting down the grid? All three, and more?
Obama sat back while the Mullahs murdered thousands in Iran. Obama grinned while ISIS murdered hundreds of thousands of Christians in Iraq and Syria. Obama WILL kill tens of millions of Americans if he can.
The Pope is Obama’s, Hillary’s, and Soros’s cheerleader. He was installed for that purpose. Don’t look for him or any Catholic bishops to say anything that might wake up the West. The infiltration of the hierarchy and the clergy is almost total.
Trump is a great communicator. He seems to know how much he can tell the masses without having his message rejected as “unpleasant.” Note the Trump never comes out and warns the people that Obama wants to murder them.
But if Trump makes it to the White House alive, I hope he embarks on a massive education campaign, exposing all the infiltration the Marxists have accomplished in the past century. All but about thirty colleges are Marxist. The mainline Protestant denominations, and the Catholic Church, are Marxist.
We now have the choice...... can we make the American media say.... NOW WE UNDERSTAND....GO TRUMP!
In a few states there has been significant shifts in party affiliation but has there been a general increase in overall registrations? Just as many people have left the labor force out of a sense of lack of control so many people don’t vote because they feel their vote does not matter. I suspect that this election being as volatile as it has been will be determined by the weather and by voting irregularities.

Sure, some give me the finger, from the safety of their locked car, but I've never been verbally engaged by hildabutchbitch supporter. They can scream and rant, but not discuss issues.
It looks like a Trump tsunami in November in Western PA {I don't know how the city will vote}.

My son is part of the monster vote. Before this election, he and his millennial friends had zero interest in politics and voting. He sure is aware now !

I don’t think any monster vote is going to help. We MUST win Florida.
Their must be a lot of "Dales" & "Monsters" in the Kuhner Country audience ( WRKO, 680am Boston 12 to 3 pm daily ). Listening now for over a year I could hear their angst this time last year and I knew something was up the people of MA & NH had had it.
I met a "Monster" in 2010 working within a Campaign. She was working for an Under-Secretary for a Dept I will not name during the Reagan years. She left politics completely ( she couldn't stand the Bushes ) she was that disgusted, and came back for this gent that was Tea Party and a Reaganite in his Soul.
IMHO Dale is right, and Kristol, Krauthammer, Romney, Ryan, etc etc are all in denial or bargain or are in one of the other 5 stages of grief as they wrap their heads around the fact that the great unwashed ( who Rush warned us they can't stand ) they them to metaphorically to "Blank Off" to use a Kuhnerism with their support of Trump.
Watch in a month or two, the Sultans of Smart out of DC will steal the Monster phrase and it will all the rage amongst the chattering class on the Sunday Morning Talk Shows...

11 months of having his good name and fortune assailed by pissants worldwide.
11 months of unmasking the politicians, faux- conservatives, and media minders employed to keep us docile while they loot us.
And he paid for it all.
All to Make America Great Again.
In 2016, God has seen fit to throw America a lifeline, and that lifeline is Donald J. Trump.
Our political overlords don’t realize just how furious we are out here in flyover country. In a rougher time, we would have been shooting traitors and hanging corrupt officials from street lights by now.
Those of us who still remember quaint old notions like limited government, accountable officials, earning your way in life, laws that apply equally to everyone and a nation made up of citizens plus a few guesfs — we want it back. Those notions are NOT antiquated nor obsolete. Not in the least.
A lot of arguments can be made against Trump the Candidate. His lack of Constitutional grounding makes me nervous, and I don’t know how he’s going to react when he tries to say “You’re fired!” and it doesn’t work.
But he SOUNDS like a solid American who wants the best for his country and that’s good enough for us. We are willing to take the risk because the path we are on leads to our certain destruction.
Millions of potential rebels are waiting for someone to lead them. All Trump needs to do is ask.

Brilliant! This is what the appeal of Trump is all about. An average citizen writes an outline of how Trump will destroy Hillary Clinton with voters who have dropped out or never voted before and does so in two pages of hand written wisdom. This is the truth. Hundreds of pages of statistical analysis in this cycle are meaningless because they are built on Old Politics.

It may seem incongruous today that Bernie Sanders voters would vote for Trump but many of them will realize that a vote for the Wicked Witch of the Ozarks is simply a vote for the Establishment. As the general election develops, Trump will be established as the true anti-establishment candidate. Especially as many of the establishment Republicans are still fighting Trump as their nominee. The rejection of Trump by these establishment Republicans is going to win Trump millions of votes he otherwise would not have gotten if he were being supported by the likes of the Bushes, Romney and others of their ilk. By staying away from the convention, they are doing a huge favor for Donald Trump as he will be able to distance himself from them.
The Bushes are loathed by the Democrats and one of my biggest fears is that they will eventually come around and get behind Trump. To them, I say please don't! Please stay away! As Jesse Jackson would say: "Stay Out da Bushes".
Rank and file Republicans WILL come out for Trump as well as the blue collar Reagan Democrats. Trump will also clean up with the Independents. And as noted, If Trump can get 15% or better of the black vote, there is virtually no chance of a Democrat victory this November.
I'm thinking Trump can get 30% of that vote.
