There was no dramatic monologue or carefully written statement needed. Trump Supporters have known all along that Sean Hannity would support Trump when Trump became GOP nominee.
This was confirmed with a simple tweet Yes, I do.
Thank you, Sean, for always being fair and for endorsing Donald J. Trump for President.

No journalist should be against a candidate either. But, since over 90 % of journalists are Democrats, what do you expect. It is refreshing to see someone break the mold. Go Hannity.
Well said.
While Trump was my first choice, I was ready and willing to go to war with the General who won the battle to lead us. And, I will add, wholeheartedly and enthusiastically supporting that General. With a checkbook and my time. I expect no less of those who wanted a different General. My children and grandchildren deserve freedom, not serfdom.
Quit being a dick.
I say you've been 'hiding out here', because in ten years of reading here daily, this is the first time I remember seeing your handle.
I don't give a damn how old your account is, you're not a regular here, so you get no special props from me. As far as I can see, you're just another sometimey poster who drops in during election seasons to stir the pot.
Wendle's a good soul who believes in this country, and wants to see her survive. You? I don't know your ass from Adam.
Greetings, Windflier~~~
I was gone from FR for maybe a year (?), longest vacation. Anyway, of course I finally had to come back for the fun/n/games. Like a moth to a flame...
Anyway, I have noticed a lot of names I don’t recognize at all with old signup dates. Like Kush here, signup 1998, first post 2001, two pages of comments. Weird, eh?
I hope all is well with you and yours.
You've GOT to be kidding, right?
Sean Hannity is a conservative. Do you think he's "objective" when it comes to liberals? Is he "objective" when he decides what topics to cover, and from what viewpoint?
I don't think that it's particularly surprising that a conservative talk show host would endorse the Republican nominee for President, especially a nominee whose policies are more conservative than any President since Ronald Reagan.
That's a lot more honest, IMHO, than those who are clearly biased but won't even admit that, for example, they're supporting Hillary.
For instance, Rush should obviously have endorsed Cruz at some point, since he was so in the tank for him.
Vote Trump!
Unfortunately, not so weird for Free Republic.
I've lost count of all the sleeper accounts I've run across. For those of us who are here every day, they stand out like a sore thumb.
Good to see you back!
Yep. Feels like skullduggery going on for sure. Might be time to alert the Mods.
Sean is one of our biggest voices in the mission to destroy liberalism, his support counts many times over.
Hannity has been in the tank for Trump for MONTHS! Others on FoxNews are Greta, Bolling, Guilfoile, Rivera, Ingram, Kilmead, Doocey, et al, and they have pushed him for months.
For who?? You? We have our nominee so who else is he supposed to endorse Hillary?
Hannity is not a journalist. He is a commentator, like O’Reilly. He has said repetitively (like most things he says) that he is a registered Conservative. His TV and radio shows/programs are not intended to be objective.
Naw, leave the mods out of it while we have our fun.
FR is chock full of old sleeper accounts that suddenly spring to life once every four years. They aren't that hard to spot for a regular poster.
It's nothing new, and is almost something of a quadrennial sport for some of us. It's kinda fun seeing the sleepers light up your radar, then zeroing in on them for the kill ;-)
Good post. We just don’t want to get as mobbed by disruptors as during the primaries!
That Trump wasn’t wrong, it is what veterans are saying on the down-low.

As I faintly recall from those many years ago when McCain was a POW, he was being called “Canary” by other POWs because of collaboration.
From your user name, I assume you served in a squadron on a carrier (or you’re just really tired). Where and when?
Thanks for your service.
Beck discussed Hannity the day I tuned into his radio show. He said they disagree not just on candidates but on purpose and format. Beck is all opinion and picking favorites and Hannity is into objectivity and interviewing newsmakers.
About time.
I make a point to NOT turn his show on. Hannity is much, much better.
LOL. Where do these people come from? Reminds me of Butch and Sundance. “Who are those guys?” ;)
