Proverbs 31:10-31

10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.

28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
29 Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.
30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.

WE ARE CALLED at this crucial moment to bear Witness to the Truth of God, to uphold and to defend this vital, First Freedom and all Freedoms that derive from it. Without Freedom of Religion, Freedom of Speech, Freedom of the Press, Freedom of Association, and the Right to Petition our Government for redress of grievances, would there remain any substantive Freedoms for us to enjoy?

Our Founding Fathers knew that one day we’d have a tyrannical government when they created our Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

Little did they know how easily the Constitution would be eroded over time and such a government be allowed to take over. Complacency of U.S. citizens has allowed it to happen.

This is no longer the free country we grew up in.

We will sing, Kathy! Our post-Communion this Sunday is the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel's Messiah. I have had the privilege of singing this chorus both in Church Choirs and under the batons of Masters with the National Symphony. Tomorrow morning, I have the unique honor and privilege of singing it again, not only with the Chancel Choir of St. Mary of the Mills, but with Mrs. MacNessa joining me in song from the Soprano Section.
