I just got home and plugged in my dead phone. Bray, I stayed off my phone when I left for Eugene and kept it in airplane mode to conserve battery so I could take pics. Sorry we didn’t connect. I figured you would make it in easy.
What a great rally! I was quite close to the front. I got close enough to almost touch him.
Trump is an excellent speaker. He looks better in person. Nothing orange about him at all. The orange is all lighting.
I’ll write more tomorrow on new thread and “try” to post pictures.

It's no secret that he (and Kristol, and a good number of others) detest the idea of a Trump presidency, and they, being "meeting types" of people, are of course going to talk amongst themselves. Thinking of the recently-posted junk piece by Rich Lowry (the one where he assigns Trump the attribute of paper-thin awareness) it's a good thing for opinion writers, pundits, and news reporters (but they are all pretty much the same thing) that there is an unlimited supply of straw men.
Watched two videos suggested in this thread. The Lyin' Ted montage, and the backstage Trump. Great suggestions for viewing. The backstage Trump one moved me, emotionally.
Waiting for bray's report. I suspect he may weave his rally experience and observations into his weekly essay. Also have an eye out for the thread covering the two rally's scheduled for today. I notice Trump gets massive turnout on short notice. I bet others notice too, as they avoid reporting and remarking on that fact.
Yes, I read that, too. Apparently, Romney was meeting with the a-hat, neo-con Bill Kristol and others. I was really ticked, too.
Good news - 2 rallies today in WA State. I'll probably miss the 2nd one and have to watch the replay, but looking forward to the first (if my Internet connection holds out - it didn't for the rally yesterday afternoon, but did get to see the plane land, motorcade and part of the rally).

He knows that he attracts or is involved with a mixed bag of respect, love, indifference and hate. He is confident, well grounded, and astute, and I'm sure he feels more in the way of support, than in the way of detraction. I won't say that the hate is easy to take, but he accepts it, exposes it, and to the extent necessary, deals with it.
