The 1st time I heard these saying was from her, “better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6” and “no one ever raped a .38”
Sweet lady who conceal carries back in Texas and prays she never has to use her weapon. My other aunt conceal carries and walks around bad neighborhoods just hoping.....

A Teen.Aren’t they supposed to capitalize that?
Probably most of them. Blacks are actually a majority in DC at 60%.
I'll say he's going to be OK. $1 million for the back "injury" and another $1 million for the PTSD resulting from the incident. That and the disability pay, pendion and benefits for life, and he can retire and pursue his passion for golf, sailing or whatever he likes.
That’s what I was thinking. The driver was more than likely Black too.
Old data. From Prof. Wikipedia: According to 2013 U.S. Census Bureau data, the population of Washington, D.C., was 49.5% Black or African American, 43.4% White (35.8% non-Hispanic White), 3.9% Asian, and 0.7% Native American Indian, Alaskan, Hawaiian, or Pacific Islander. Individuals from two or more races made up 2.6% of the population. Hispanics of any race made up 10.1% of the District's population.
Gentrification is cracking right along. People who knew DC in the past but who have been gone ten or more years need to drop by and take a look. When Trinidad is a hot neighborhood and there's a big organic supermarket in Ivy City, ya' gotta' rearrange your thoughts.
This bus incident occurred in Anacostia, which is not surprising. But even Anacostia is changing fast. A work in progress, yes, but the entire river corridor is in the process of becoming a magnet. In ten years, everything from Mt. Ranier and College Park to Buzzard Point will be hot. The Anacostia River for decades has been a barrier and a dividing line. It is becoming an attraction that will draw the right and left banks together. There is a small army of people, mostly volunteers, who have been working on pieces of the puzzle for 20 years. It's coming together.
Now if you even have an old shotgun shell rolling around in your trunk that’s a jailin’
When I was there last June, I saw at least as many blacks as I did whites. Maybe more.
Since blacks are still the majority, I guess more.
