Ted Cruz's conservative crusade for the presidency fought for new life Monday ahead of an Indiana vote that could effectively end the GOP's primary season. The fiery Texas senator hinted at an exit strategy, even as he vowed to compete to the end against surging Republican front-runner Donald Trump.

DESPERATION TIME

Trump is running on six straight victories across the Northeast. The math and momentum are clearly with Donald Trump. The anti-Trump movement looks like it's been a complete failure.

Cruz's alliance with Kasich in which John agreed to pull his advertising from Indiana, unravelled and backfired. The NBC poll found nearly 6 in 10 Indiana primary voters disapproved of the Cruz-Kasich arrangement.

Trump's double digit polling advantage is a testimony to his popularity in Indiana where he is being grossly outspent in advertising. Trump has spent about $1 million on ads, Cruz's campaign, pro-Cruz super PACs and anti-Trump groups have combined for about $6.4 million in advertising (Kantar Media's Campaign Media Analysis Group)....

Just when did Cruz “have a viable path to victory”?! Almost never.

Once the money dries up, Ted will make a hasty exit.

My father and step mother already voted absentee for Trump. They were both Cruz, but I helped convert them.

I’ll do my part tomorrow. I like the whole process of going to the polls.

I hate football, so this is my Playoffs and November is my Super Bowl. Been saying that for 20 years.

He’s probably wishing that lightning hits Trump’s campaign.

Awesome, good effort!

Thank heaven Indiana is not a another rigged caucus state.

Yea for Indiana!

Since Blue Oyster Cult is the soundtrack for the revolution, this should be Trump's campaign song

You scorned the love that I gave you
You lied now nothing can save you
Blue skies are turning to gray
I know the games that you play

Winds of rage they start to build
Too much madness will lay you under
The cards you draw don’t help at all
Hear the sound of approaching thunder

When you see the clouds blacken
Remember you’ve been warned
No shelter from my fierce winds
Because I am the storm

You’ll hear my echoes of anger
You’ll fear the roar of my thunder
Nightmares, confusion will come true
Aces and eights are the fate that you drew

Lightning bolts become my swords
When I pull them from the sky
Run my gauntlet of slashing rain
You won’t survive to testify

When you see the clouds blacken
Remember you’ve been warned
No shelter from my fierce winds
Because I am the storm

"Once he lost the South it was over for him." Pretty much this. The South was supposed to be Ted Cruz's region of strength, and Texas was the only former Confederate state Cruz won.

First time in my 40 years of voting that we actually make a difference in the Primary.

I would have like to seen Trump in Carmel today, but I was having a CT scan at the time. Was within just a couple miles of there.

Disappointed that Kokomo only rated getting Bubba Clinton and Teds father.

Cruz was done before the rest of the South had voted.

South Carolina -—— February 20.

Cruz has never had a chance to win -upfront & honestly -with the will of the people since he lost SC.

Cruz -3rd place finish with 22% in SC.

THAT was the Evangelical conservative checkpoint, and they saw straight through him. -Feb 20.

South Carolina wanted Donald Trump - he won every single SC Congressional District.

Folks should have listened to them.

Historically, the South Carolina primary election has been very important in the Republican Party’s nomination process.

It’s considered a firewall that could permanently eliminate any/all serious rivals to the winner. It is meant to force the various factions of the party to decide quickly on and unite behind a single candidate and avoid wasting precious time and resources on a drawn-out battle between their own candidates, that would divert the party’s focus from working to defeat the Democrats’ likely nominee.

Since its 1980 inception, the winner of the Republican South Carolina primary has ALWAYS become the eventual Republican National Convention nominee for that fall’s general election, with one exception, the 2012 primary, in which Romney finished second, behind winner Newt Gingrich (who would go on to suspend his campaign before that summer’s convention began).

South Carolina has cemented its place as the “First in the South.” And there ya go. Donald TRUMP WON February 20th, and will win the nomination.

“Lyin’ Ted!” yelled one, using Trump’s pet name for his rival.

“What do you like about him?” Cruz asked the man. “Name one thing.”

He’s not you, Ted.

I guess, the week after Iowa.
A lot of somewhat silly hype after Wisconsin.
Besides that, not much..
