I got cheated!
After Donald Trump received nearly twice the votes of Ted Cruz at Saturdays Arizona Republican convention, the Texas senator walked away with a significant majority of the delegates from that state, KTAR reported.
Cruz took nearly all the states 28 at-large delegates and basically split the 27 selected by congressional district.
Former Gov. Jan Brewer, a Trump supporter, was livid as the results were announced, indicating that shed lost her first election in 35 years.

Robert Graham, chairman of the Arizona Republican Party, agreed and said the election was run fairly. "Cruz and Ohio Gov. John Kasich merely combined their votes for the Cruz victory."
I have not been able to understand this yet.
Real Clear Politics lists all the delegates going to Trump in the Az primary. ?

Betcha more of Soros Money behind the theft.
41 of 55 Arizona national GOP delegates to the 2016 Convention essentially secured over the weekend by Ted Cruz ground (game) team in tandem with ABT (Anybody But Trump).
Agitate somewhere else. Who you running for your 3rd party candidate?
Yes. But, could that be proven with evidence rather than sentiment? What is true is that Team Cruz turned out the numbers it seems, in Mesa, AZ on last Saturday.
Trump for President.
Posting a factual news article on FR is not “agitating”. But in a totalitarian system barring open discussion, I can see where it might be labeled that.

That is an allegation. It supersedes and surpasses that when it is accompanied by incontrovertible evidence.
You have an obvious disconnect from the situation here in the U.S. Try selling your carp in Japan.
This fool will need to hide with the Colorado guy in Cleveland

Does that happen a lot, in Tokyo?
The Cruz delegates are bound to Trump for the first ballot. If Trump does not receive the required majority on the first round of voting, delegates are then unbound and can vote for whoever they want.
As such, Cruz is playing the strategy of being the candidate that is left when (if) Trump fails to receive the required delegates.
Now what I dont understand is how Jan feels she has been cheated. She KNOWS the delegates are bound to Trump for the first round of votes. She knew the rules prior to the election of delegates. As far as I know, she was not on the slate of delegates. I am not sure where she has a claim for being cheated.
Preface: I voted for Cruz, but know its over and he will not win the nomination.
Now that’s out of the way...why on earth is the delegate system a surprise to people?
For my entire life, the GOP primary electoral results have meshed with the desires of the ‘smoke filled back room’ of the party.
This year it doesn’t...neither Cruz or Trump was meant to win. That’s a good thing. But these two still have to battle it out within a rules structure that neither created. Cruz isn’t cheating...he’s playing by the convoluted rules put in front of him.
Some day soon, we will have to unify - likely behind Trump, I concede...I mean its 99% certain at this point. I hope we can all put the cheating accusations behind us and rally behind either of them, though.
Cruz works constantly to undo the work of the voters.
