Weather Channel founder John Coleman doesn't think much of Bill Nye "The Science Guy." Coleman took Nye to the woodshed over a clip he recorded that aired over the weekend criticizing the soon to be released documentary Climate Hustle.
I have always been amazed that anyone would pay attention to Bill Nye, a pretend scientist in a bow tie, Mr. Coleman said Saturday on the website Climate Depot.
As a man who has studied the science of meteorology for over 60 years and received the [American Meteorological Society] Meteorologist of the Year award, I am totally offended that Nye gets the press and media attention he does, Mr. Coleman said. And I am rooting for the Climate Hustle film to become a huge hit bigger than An Inconvenient Truth by Al Gore.

JC has been consistent on this subject from the beginning.
I guess he made a pretty penny for his creation then. Too bad he sold though because his creation is FOS nowadays.

He was great. A prominent figure from my childhood. I met him at a Severe Weather Seminar at Fermilab. Really nice guy.

Yup. My husband is a scientist — PhD in Physics. He says the “real” scientific community laughs at Nye who pretends to be a scientist. He’s never published a paper, either on his own, or with a group. He, like Hillary, has exactly zero accomplishments to his name. Pretty good at self promoting, though.
John Coleman abruptly left KUSI in San Diego while on vacation in April 2014, with no on-air farewell.
Much more in his element, Bill Nye was the fool who played “Speed Walker” on “Almost Live”, a locally-produced comedy show that followed SNL on King 5 TV in Seattle fifteen or twenty years ago. I wonder how many people even know that?
That was typical Bob Newhart for sure. His sense of humor always cracked me up.
They talk?!? Who knew?...
Former weather guy, John got into it with Dan McKinnon (owner of KUSI and bud bud with Bill Clinton)John had a 1 hour special about climate change, highest watched program on Kusi, people called for a rerun but McKinnon stopped it as it went against his beliefs.
Bill Nye the Anti-Science Guy is a traitor to the US and freedom in general.
He really is one of the bottom feeder scum that seeks to make a profit from the AGW Scam before 1. Capitalism is wiped out by it or 2. No one believes it anymore and his nearly effortless cash cow dries up.
I want to see Climate Hustle. I probably know most of what they say, but I want to support anyone trying to spread the truth on a large scale like this.
Nye isn’t even qualified enough to put on a children’s science show.
He’s a liar and he seems to hate science.
I doubt that he even knows how to make baking soda and vinegar foam...
* Bill Nye - The Voodoo Witch Doctor Crackpot Science Guy!!
Bill Nye’s science is akin to Richard Pryor’s scientific act in the SNL skit where he’s predicting the future by “What the bones say.”

Rush Limbaugh: Scholars, critics and viewers have noted that some TV newscasts can be momentarily mistaken for Victorias Secret specials. In an apparent attempt to capture channel-surfing male viewers, stations have hired attractive female anchors, often outfitting them in attire that emphasizes their sexuality.
These guys watch but they couldnt tell you what was just reported. Ill tell you when I first noticed this.
I lived in Kansas City back in the seventies and one local station there went out and made a big deal out of some new weather girl that they had hired, and I gotta tell you, when this woman stood on the East Coast and faced the West Coast, the first state you saw was Missouri.
So, in essence they were correct about her being their new weather girl. Her assets had their own weather patterns!
Science is a belief system to warmists.
I think the key is to acknowledge that having a degree in science (I have a BS in Chemistry) does not make you an expert in every science, but does allow you to view data and theories critically using the techniques you have learned in your specialty.
Even more important, is to keep in mind how much you don’t know, and that you are capable of being wrong and misinterpreting things.
I detest Bill Nye for ignoring both of these caveats.
Yes, he follows us where ever we move. At Chanute AFB, we would watch him on WLS, then when we moved to San Diego years later, he was there.
There's no such thing as "fence sitters" in the climate debate. There's the rabid believers and the rest of us who are logical and intelligent human beings. And we are in the vast majority.........
Unfortunately it's the rabid believers who get all the press...........
