Colorado's six-time Olympic gold medal winning swimmer Amy Van Dyken-Rouen says agents with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) humiliated her.
She took to social media Sunday to detail her experience getting through security at Denver International Airport.
She said agents made her go through a full body search even though she has Pre check.
"They go around your breasts, they basically go under your butt and the just grab things, not grab, they touch things that are not appropriate and it's really embarrassing," said Van Dyken-Rouen.
Van Dyken-Rouen said as much as she and husband Tom travel all over the country, shes never been screened like this or treated like this.
Van Dyken-Rouen took to Instagram shortly after getting through security to detail her experience and call out the agent who she said was rude to her.

Your comment is offensive, uninformed, and ignorant.
If you don’t know the facts why say or post anything?
“Special Attention” indeed!
Are you saying good looking women need to ugly themselves up to avoid being molested by the TSA!?
She is a paraplegic confined to a wheelchair. She is a proud American who displayed her pride as an Olympian.
It is well established that many women are literally groped and “felt up” by TSA perverts.
That's this weeks treatment, want for more fun next week!
“Ill probably never fly again. I wont submit to that treatment.”........
In our 70’s, my wife, who is handicapped due to a stroke and other major illnesses, and I will be air traveling within the next two weeks. Personally, I have no problem with the screening process for myself but what my wife will be subjected to is a disgrace. Having previously been exposed to the TSA screening process, she will undergo the most physical and embarrassing process that anyone should never have to experience. There HAS TO BE a better way.
The Israelis have it.
Amy was in a snowboarding accident that left her a paraplegic. She’s been very public since then about her battles to adapt and recover. She was also a radio talk show host for Fox Sports before her injury.
TSA will always pick on people like her because they know she can’t physically fight back.
I don’t know if anything changed but once you pass security, they have no legal reason to hold you without risking a lawsuit.
There are some quality people working for TSA and I thank them when I am treated correctly.
Be professional, tell shift manager exactly what was done wrong and stand your ground.
There are many who would barely qualify to flip burgers and use TSA to boost their egos.
GWB created this monstrosity and now the American People need to fight to get it dismantled.
Blame the victim
A freeper tradition
Usually by the third reply
I sorta don’t want to be shot in a grocery store, let’s have gun checks there. By DHS.
TSA is a thug org. Period. Enjoy your tyranny.
If I recall, I think he said they start out at $12 an hour and work only limited hours per week.......
“Meanwhile, they miss 75% of the simulated terrorists in testing.”
I got singled out for a pat down last summer. I was amazed that they didn’t check my four o’clock waist area. That’s where I concealed carry. Duh!
Shouldn’t the government act better than rapists? Is that too much to ask?
It was permitted by the way, to have the prescription in the name of the Doctor to insure privacy. So much for HIPPA.
If it does, the bomb will have been planted not by one of the passengers, but by a baggage handler and any of a dozen other jobs where the employee has access to the aircraft (usually unrestricted) and who gets minimal back ground checking in the employment process.
I’ve decided it’s inverted fear. If they can blame the victim, they can believe it won’t happen to them, because they won’t do whatever the victim did to cause their own victimhood. There are of course cases such as Darwin Award winners where the victim caused his own victimhood due to sheer stupidity, but more and more, true victims are being blamed.
Sure. Blame the victim.
Would be nice if the ritual humiliation of passengers by the TSA prevented that, but it doesn't. Every bomb or hijacking attempt since 9/11 has been stopped by other passengers, not airport security theater.
My advice to Amy: Wear a burqa when traveling and TSA won’t come near you.
Recently flew through Newark after arriving from Europe: the security line snaked -twice- through the whole terminal to get on my flight-- barely made it.
Needless to say the "security" check was as cursory as possible because of the speed with which they were pushing people through the system.
So we have all the inconvenience and expense of "security" with no real effect.
“Meanwhile, they miss 75% of the simulated terrorists in testing.”
Hmmm... I seem to remember some recent results where they failed 95% of tests.
Same here. Those who don't are committing "sanction of the victim."
If everyone refused to submit, it would end.
