Urging voters to pick him over rival and Republican front-runner Donald Trump, presidential candidate Ted Cruz framed the battle to win the Indiana primary as a choice between good and evil.
"I believe in the people of the Hoosier state. I believe that the men and women gathered here and the goodness of the American people, that we will not give into evil but we will remember who we are and we will stand for our values, Cruz said at a rally in La Porte, Indiana.

Is there any level that Cruz will not sink to? Is there anything that he will not say?
I just tuned into Morning Joe. SO MUCH BETTER THAN FOX. I tried F&F twice - first time was a Pakistani squash player, or something like that, second was a bunch of people on stationery bikes. What a bunch of fluffy nonsense.
In any case, Morning Joe was refreshing! Boy, did they give Crooze a raking. They showed the clip of Crooze telling people not to go for evil. They also showed the Chuck Todd interview segment where Todd tried to get Crooze, the slimy lawyer/politician to answer the simple question, “If Trump is the nominee, will you support him?”
You have to see it to believe what a weaselly answer he (didn’t) give. This is exactly what people hate.
This will finish Ted Cruz off.
You are so right!!!!!
So, now Donald Trump is evil Ted?
Please list the criteria you employed to reach that characterization—Other that the fact that he’s thumping your sorry butt.
Cruz should quit before everybody hates him.
Sorry, but Ted is a loser, major loser at that.
Somebody send Sen. Cruz a copy of ‘how to win friends and influence people’. PLEASE!
Somehow I am starting to doubt his champion of debate team.
Cruz seems to be morphing into a Jim Jones from the Unification Church.
Beware the free koolaide.
When you frame those people who don’t/won’t support you as good vs. “evil” instead of misguided/misinformed/etc., you’ve stepped over the line.
This tells us Sen. Cruz’s reasoning and mindset.
Dear Ted,
even those of us who do not care for Donald Trump. as either a businessman, a leader or a human being wish you would just STFU and either go back to the Senate or get a job as an Evangelist somewhere. You have gone from being interesting and part of the national conversation to being an embarrassment to Christians, conservatives and, actually, to anyone who isn’t stoned and watching Saturday Night Live while giggling and eating Doritos.
“Cruz is not evil. Trump is not evil.
Cruz is desperate, and desperate people, regardless of their intelligence, sometimes do stupid things.
Trump is brash, and brash people, regardless of their intelligence, sometimes do stupid things.
Marxism is evil. Social Progressivism is evil. Anyone who supports these, including Obama and HRC and Bernie, must be stopped by any non-evil means necessary.
When both Trump and Cruz realize this and stop calling each other idiotic names, we will have a chance.”
No. Cruz IS evil. Because Cruz is attempting to de-rail Trump, who is the only chance we have in this election of defeating the Democrats (who are also evil).
Not to mention the guy’s a pathological liar.
“Somehow I am starting to doubt his champion of debate team.”
That’s what I said as well!
Chuck Todd was very frustrated with this obnoxious ass. Megyn Kelly also got a taste of his arrogant, rude non-stop talking and interrupting, plus Sean Hannity got pretty fed up with him a little while ago. No wonder he’s known for being disliked so much!
I said that he didn’t actually win debates. He’s just so rude and won’t stop talking that everyone else just gives up because they’re so angry and want to get the heck away from him.
If any one of these politicians would bring about a war, it’s this obnoxious jackass.
So sez Cruzifer, himself.
:D
Off the rails.
Hope he doesn’t take too many of his supporters with him.
Add a pinch of Jim Jones...
When the “form over substance” and the “rules” take precedence, ideological anchors are lost. Nothing matters but the “rules” and winning the issue, even though you’re still not sure why except that you have to win.
No way he can pull this back.
