Speculation abounds as Fox News talking head Andrea Tantaros is no longer appearing on air.
In response to a query from TV Newser, Fox issued a terse statement:
Issues have arisen regarding Andreas contract, and Fox News Channel has determined it best that she take some time off. She is still under contract with the network.
That opens the question of what could have changed regarding her contract all of a sudden.
The Examiner opens a few doors on what might (or might not) be at issue with Tantaros and the network:
While not cited by FNC as a reason for her extended vacation, Tantaros recently claimed during a taping of Outnumbered that certain GOP Establishment-types were coming down hard on her for supporting Donald Trump; "Specifically, Charles Cooke, who is a writer for National Review, he tweeted out that I should give my job to somebody else. Also, a meme by Kevin Williamson of National Review trying to make me seem stupid. I should give up my job according to men in the Republican Party."
In the midst of the Obama Administration's less-than-kosher investigations of certain journalists, Tantaros held little back.
As cited by the NewsHounds.us weblog, while on the air, Tantaros stated quite plainly, "This is Obamas America. Its like the Soviet Union. He said hed change the country. He said it, he said it, he said it, and a lot of people voted for him. And if you see any of those people today, do me a favor, punch 'em in the face. Well be right back."

Well bless your heart.
Like that hottie Morgan Ortagus?
I like Megan. She’s hot, articulate, and doesn’t back down. Too bad she’s not a true Conservative.
Oh B.S. Eric Bolling is a Trump supporter and he still has a job.
Words fail me.
(Thank you!)
Correct Andrea, the purpose of Extortion-Care is to establish the entire U.S. as a Work-Camp. All under Body-Mortgages without freedom, except for the Communists.
Clintons, Bushes, Mitch and the Gang, Cruz, all the “depts”, Congress, Ryan,.... all of them never touched, never on the receiving end, of their own rules and statutes.
They will try, and fail, to make her an unperson..
Whoraldo was probably one of those who connived to get her removed..
Greek..
Totally agree, Can’t stand Dana anymore. Bring Andrea
back.
Fox is a corporation, not a government entity, so it is free to hire/fire and publish/not publish as it pleases within the law. It isn’t censorship. Only the government censors. If Fox’s viewership suffers, that’s its cost of exercising its freedoms.
This is yet another genius decision by FNC management, presumably Bill Shine, the chief of FNC thought police who previously fired Bob Beckel and suspended Stacey Dash and Ralph Peters. Her departure seriously weakens the FNC lineup and makes me question the value of her show (”Outnumbered”) without her. I had been turning increasingly to Newsmax TV as an alternative to FNC, and Dennis Michael Lynch on Newsmax is equal or superior to anything on FNC. Unfortunately, the other major Newsmax anchors (Steve Malzberg and JD Hayworth) have allowed their programs to degenerate into a “talk television” call-in format similar to talk radio. I guess the march toward the lowest common denominator continues.
Reagan once accurately described people like Megan McCain...
“Leftists know so much.........that isn’t true.”

Did they really hire Fields ? If so, I’ll never watch them again and will go so far as to block the channel.
You sure that’s her? Though the woman’s undoubtedly hot she looks a little thicker than AT, like a Kardashian. Pic#26 of her looks to be alot skinnier in the mid section and thighs. Just saying and both are gorgeous pics either way.
Bristol Palin? It really doesn’t look like AT.
