Fox News host Meghan McCain argued on Thursday that GOP hopeful Ted Cruz had been smart to choose Carly Fiorina as his runningmate because she “warms up” the Texas senator.
“I love Carly Fiorina,” McCain explained on the Thursday edition of Fox’s Outnumbered. “She has gone after Hillary Clinton the hardest. She rips out her jugular and serves it to me on a platter, which is what I want coming up in the election.”
“What I like about Carly Fiorina is she warms up Ted Cruz,” she continued. “She’s going to reach out in Indiana to moms to women. How much this ultimately moves the needle, I don’t know. But his campaign is in trouble and he knows it and he had to do something.”
McCain recalled that Fiorina had told a story during a speech on Wednesday about singing a song with Cruz’s daughters.

Cruz’s selection of Carley Fiorina also shows what we suspected him to be. Fiorina is a globalist and an insider. As the CEO of HP Fiorina laid off 30,000 workers and shipped those jobs to China. California knows very well her story and will make sure her place on the ticket will be a liability for Cruz in the general election. Expect to loose California in the general election.
Fiorina has had words of praise for Hillary Clinton:
“I have such great empathy for Hillary Clinton. I have great admiration for her because I know what it takes in small measure to do what she has done. She is obvious incredibly intelligent, focused, tough, determined, empathetic to the tens of millions of people that she is trying to represent in her quest to become the first woman president of the United States.
And as a woman, I take great pride in the fact that Hillary Clinton ran for president. And I watched with a lot of empathy as she was scrutinized, characterized, talked about as a woman. While I think women have made great progress in so many ways, I also know from personal experience that women in positions of power—particularly bold women—who are trying to drive change, as Hillary Clinton most certainly is. Bold women—women in power—are characterized and scrutinized differently than their male counterparts.”
The above tells me her real position with Hillary and that she is willing to play the feminist card. She, like Cruz, will say anything to succeed.
She is also tied into Common Core: Craig Barrett, advocate for Common Core and Chairman of the Board at Achieve Inc. (architects of the Common Core standards), hosted a private fundraiser for Carly Fiorina in AZ on 9/10/15 according to the Maricopa County Republican Committee (MCRC) Briefs.

Scientists say that climate change is man made, but, the problem is we never let the scientists finish the sentence because of what the scientists all agree on is a single nation acting alone can make no difference at all.” :

So, how would Fiorina combat this phony Man Made Global Warming? She calls for innovation and nuclear energy for the United States. But she leaves one unanswered question: What is to be done about the other nations? One world order? A globalist answer? Under the veil of Man Made Global Warming, they will justify a globalist approach.

I did it once though, apparently in my sleep, when a kitten pounced on my feet and started biting them. I am told I flipped that kitten off the bed like a helicopter, clean into the other wall. It slid down, with its claws, said, “grrrrr,” ran into another wall, backed up, and ran out of the bedroom.

And I told his campaign (another call for donations despite dozen or so requests to take me off the list) that choosing Carly was a sign of desperation and an obvious sexist pandering....he’s toast.

If somebody takes McCain's comment to mean that Carly is warm and sweet and will make Ted Cruz all warm and fuzzy it's wrong, but Ted has so many sharp corners that even somebody like Carly could round them off a little. I suspect it's a bit more of an after-the-fact rationalization than anything else, but Ted's in an almost desperate spot now and I can't blame him for grasping at whatever hope he can come up with.
Does your mom know you talk like that? And how on earth does Meghan's weight or appearance rebut or refute or reflect on her opinions (whether right or wrong)? Aren't you just admitting that you are too lazy to think up an argument or a thoughtful response?
That civil war between the moderate-liberal GOP establishment and conservatives is sounding pretty quaint and passé now. It's clear that mod-libs could disappear from the party tonight and conservatives would still gladly tear each other apart.
Meghan McCain supports her dad and people like him. That's to be expected of a daughter. Overall, so far as I can see, she's been well-behaved in this election cycle, and really doesn't merit abuse. Is there anything that she's said or done now or in the past that's as bad as what you see about her?
You got yourself a real case of premature exasperation.
