Despite official campaign documents outlining their combined effort, Senator Ted Cruz now tries to say there was no alliance between Team Cruz and Team Kasich.

Delusional.
What’s it called when a liar lies about lies?
Oh yeah, hypocrisy.
Conservative Treehouse again using misleading titles and quotes taken out of context?
Do I dare read the ramblings on linked pages?
What will CT do when trump wins. Seems they’ll have nothing to write about.
John Kasich made the decision in his own political self interest to withdraw from Indiana and compete elsewhere. And that was a perfectly reasonable decision, Cruz said.
At least so far as the story goes, Cruz DID NOT say that he and Kasich didn't discuss and coordinate strategy. The headline said that. And most of those commenting are reacting to the headline, not to what Cruz said.
It IS in the political self-interest of both Cruz and Kasich to block Trump from winning on the first ballot, and jointly targeting their efforts may theoretically be an effective strategy. That is a true statement. This, of course, is assuming Kasich is doing anything other than running interference for Trump, which I now doubt.
John Weaver is then reported to have tweeted, in reference to this, that Cruz is a liar. That is a shabby misstatement by Weaver, though entirely in character and perfectly coherent if Kasich is a Trump ally.
This has gotten seriously tiresome. If someone asked Cruz what time it was, and he glanced at his watch and said 6:30 when it was actually 6:33, Trump would snort about Ly'in Ted and several battalions of Trumpkins would rush to the attack. Sheesh.
This guy has serious problems. When you are known as Lying Ted, you would think at some point you would just..stop...lying!!
Sounds like kasich is gunnin for VP on the trump ticket???
Kasich is not a Trump ally. Kasich voters would not support Cruz. Hell, nobody wants any part of Cruz anymore but Carly.
Kasich kicked Cruz’s butt last week. LOL
Got home from work and caught up on the news. Found out what Cruz said about Trump today. DisgusTED. Cruz has turned out to a major league clymer.
The guy has to be wound up tighter than a rubber-band right now.
I don’t wish the guy any harm. I just wish he’d be a lot more respectful of the process.
Mine was the Ben Carson incident in Iowa. That told me all I needed to know about Cruz’s character.
Ashley Cruz is CERTIFIED and should switch parties
with Kasich.
Cruz/Kasich or Hillary/Cruz
vs.
Trump/Palin or Trump/Sessions or Trump/Bolton
I feel the same way as you do about Ohio. My family is from Ohio; I lived for a couple of years as a child when my father’s company transferred him there. Also, we frequently went back there to visit family during holidays and vacations. It is such a beautiful state, it has always seemed like home to me in a way that California never was, even though I was born there and lived most of life there. I have applied to be a delegate, and if I am accepted, I am planning on taking an extra week and explore my childhood haunts.
sCruz Kasich too now...
I guess we weren’t enough.
Tead...
Tisk tisk tisk.
While he said the two agreed that Donald J. Trump would be a disastrous Republican nominee, Mr. Cruz cast Mr. Kasichs participation in the gambit as something less than altruistic.
John Kasich made the decision, in his own political self-interest, to withdraw from Indiana and to go compete elsewhere, Mr. Cruz said, while continuing to campaign in the state six days before its primary. And that was a perfectly reasonable decision. Mr. Cruz did not answer questions about whether he was similarly pulling out of Oregon, which votes on May 17, or New Mexico, which votes on June 7. Minutes later, taking the stage at a convention hall, Mr. Cruz told voters that Mr. Kasich had no path to victory. John Kasich has pulled out, he said, omitting any further context. Hes withdrawn from the state of Indiana.
Cruz just can't help himself. He tells whatever lies suits his agenda. It is true. This man can never be trusTED.
I’m waiting for Ted to deny he ever ran for President.
Cruz and Kasich are a thing to behold. Add Fiorina and all hell has broken loose.
First C/K cut a deal re: Maine delegates. Kasich campaign accuses Cruz of “backstabbing” Kasich and reneging on the deal.
Now, they try another gimmick and again, within days it ends up with finger pointing, Fiorina telling Kasich to drop out, and Cruz denying there was ever a deal re: Indiana.
They need to go away.
Ted Cruz makes Baghdad Bob look like a warm-up act
Wonderful. What part of OH are you from?
Mine was when he suddenly became a Canadian and had to renounce his Canadian citizenship.
