Former House Speaker John Boehner ripped into Sen. Ted Cruz in a memorable fashion during a Wednesday appearance, prompting Cruz to say he "doesn't know" Boehner.
"I have Democrat friends and Republican friends. I get along with almost everyone, but I have never worked with a more miserable son of a bitch in my life," Boehner said, dubbing Cruz "Lucifer in the flesh."
But a closer look at their history reveals the two weren't always enemies. In fact, long before Boehner saw Cruz as Lucifer, the 2016 Republican presidential candidate was actually his lawyer.

why dont senators talk to each other?
= = =
Boehner is not a senator, but a representative.
I’m sorry moron, I was talking about what Ted sCruz said last night or this morning , he said “I probably haven’t said 5 words to Boehner” or words to that effect, maybe it was 15 words, so I do not need the history, I heard it from the horses as# himself.
Pretty silly actually. I wouldn’t consider myself “working” with my attorney either....pointless story.
But Ted never talked to Boehner
Thank you for that. Interesting!
The story aside - Boehner's attitude is widespread among the Republicans in the House and Senate. A lot would side with their co-betrayers on the other side of the aisle. Cruz would have 10 times more resistance than Obama had help from "our side" of the aisle. Plus, he's also managed to alienate a lot of his original base - other than hard core idealists, not many would be excited about voting for him - Romney did better than Cruz would do today.
You do know bonehead orange man was the speaker of the House not a Senator ?
>>Boehner said, dubbing Cruz “Lucifer in the flesh.”
Hmm. Is this like a non-endorsement endorsement or something?
Boehner hates Cruz = +(-1) for the Cruz side of the Weevil scale.
