Donald Trump’s sweeping victories Tuesday night move the Manhattan billionaire a step closer to winning the Republican nomination for president and to pulling off the most improbable political feat in modern American history. But Trump’s story is about more than a first-time candidate’s stunning rise. It is also about the humiliating defeat suffered by an increasingly isolated political and media class who still do not understand the causes and scope of Trump’s populist revolt.
In his book “Coming Apart: The State of White America, 1960-2010,” Charles Murray wrote about the rise of a new American upper class and the “narrow elites” who shape America’s economy, culture and government. The number of players who dominate the direction of media, politics and finance is surprisingly concentrated for a country as sprawling and diverse as the United States. And yet almost all of these “influencers” across Manhattan and Washington were incapable of blunting Trump’s meteoric rise. Time and again over the past year, Washington insiders and media moguls misread the mood of working-class voters and their attraction to the populist message championed by Trump.

Forget the fact Trump has created THOUSANDS of jobs and designed elegant buildings, I would truly PREFER a child’s mind leading this country than the repetitive filthy, evil minds who are truly psychopaths.

I completely disagree.
First, those voters yesterday (most of whom live within spittin’ distance of both “target areas”) delivered a message to the entire elite structure that makes a nuke strike look like a fart in a hurricane. (Merely recall some of the shock and awe on Fox, CNN et al last night for validation of that...)
Second, if anybody attacks this country I’d just have to find my stuff and go warrior on their a$$. Even if I was the only one.
Next (but foremost JMHO), I’d really miss the buildings and monuments.
The fact that he's been able to pull off these sorts of election results with NO experience in this sort of thing, and with none of the party apparatus available to help him tells me that he's a man who can tackle difficult problems with successful results. He's a problem solver with seemingly infinite energy and determination.
He is EXACTLY what this government needs right now.

My liberal neighbor used to get her “news” and talking points from Jon Stewart...she told me that she stayed informed by watching him.
