I find Ted Cruz dishonest and manipulative in this race. His Christian roots untraceable and his rhetoric unstable. Donald Trump may not always meet the mark as politically correct conservative but he owns his beliefs unlike Cruz that speaks what he doesn't seem to live. His wife drinks, they do not tithe, he has questionable relationships with young women he works with, he claims to all of us in Texas to be committed to representing Texas and fighting for our voice in Washington just to decide he was not called to be a senator but President in the middle of the job and leaves his post to run for another office leaving us voiceless and the job he committed to do unmanned.
God has historically used men and women that the people would not have necessarily have chosen to represent him. We have spent the last 18 months or so in prayer around the country in prayer groups praying for Gods man, Mr. Trump is that man, get on or get out of the way but God will have a man and we will be restored with or without your approval. Ted Cruz has a job he needs to get back to it and allow those that have been called to areas he is not get to theirs and stop all this strife in the body.

Yup...her choice to murder her child.
Your posts make me laugh. Thanks.
Who the hell are you to deem a person unworthy to live just because of the circumstances surrounding their conception?
Most women who abort after rape have stated that they can cope with the rape. It was the abortion that they’ll never get over. Abortion is murder. Get a clue.
Thank you sir....I’ll be here all week. :o)
I haven't judged anyone in this situation. You have. You are the one playing god with someone else's life, not me.
And the kind of society you come from also treats rape victims as second class citizens as well. Why do you think women are ashamed to admit to having been raped? It is folks like you.
The villain in this case is the rapist. Everyone else is a victim. But you would victimize the victim.
Thank you for posting. That is a GREAT summation of the "flawed" people God has used down through history!
One of my favorites that you did not list is King Nebuchadnezer; an ungodly king who came to true repetence and was restored to the throne by God.

For men do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they pick grapes from a briar bush. 45”The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth what is good; and the evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth what is evil; for his mouth speaks from that which fills his heart. Yeah we do have the right.

Agree. I say this as a Christian.
Neither Cruz nor Trump are particularly palatable right now. But if one is going to campaign as Mr. Evangelical, then he had better walk the walk.
Cruz hasn’t. Therefore he and the other guy are on relatively even playing field when it comes to unethical behavior. The sole differentiator left is entrepreneurial and business experience, which is what the country needs right now. Trump win.
And the Christian woman who wrote the letter to the editor needs to articulate her argument better. This was bad. Embarrassing, really.
Thank you for a reasonable position.
Does your concept of absolutism apply to the Yazidi Christian women, the Baka Haram’s captive girls, or other women held as sex slaves and gang-raped daily by their captors? Reprehensible, indeed.
Really....you have proof he gave nothing to charity? Just because its not on a tax return doesnt mean diddly.
“In the case of violent rape, I think it is the violated womans choice, not yours or mine.”
But only in violent rape, Whoopi? No matter how the conception happened, it’s a child. There is no choice. There’s only a child.
Oh that would be socialism wouldn't. We believe in personal responsibility and the woman who is raped must bear her responsibility.
I am actually ok with society bailing out these victims of your sad sadistic moralizing except in those rare instance where the perp is a multi-millinaire whose property can be confiscated to make restitution.
Cruz has a habit is twisting Trump's wprds and changing his message. I didn't like the dishonesty of it. I can't stand to listen to Cruz now!
I guess these folks never heard of Socrates, but they know everything.
So I have a question. If one is a moral absolutist, does one support the candidate who espouses moral absolutism, even though he is a proven hypocrite, or does one go with someone with more wisdom about the nature of man and the human condition and who has a certain degree of what others of us were taught was an important part of being a Christian - charity.
Indeed, which is more important, moral absolutism or Christian charity [Christ gave us a hint with the parable of the adultress], but maybe we are allowed to ignore that part of Christ's teachings while we revert to our Old Testiment god.
Even before I decided he was a liar, I could not stand his dentist’-drill voice, or his greasy face and hair.
Anyone who is truly a Believer, and a small government, Constitutional Conservative, would not be falling for Donald’s shtick. We’ve gone from electing a community agitator, to considering a progressive reality TV star as a viable candidate. God help America.

Yes, it wasn’t perfectly written, but she got her points across just fine, even if I did grimace a little as I read it. I appreciate the effort she made. She might be real young (I was thinking) and this is what today’s high schools and colleges turn out, which isn’t her fault. She tried. That was good, not bad. Wasn’t “embarrassing” to me. Most of my adult grandkids couldn’t have said it much better.

Talk about “shtick”....cRuz has been trying to fool conservatives for months/years, now. Now is not the time to elect another Harvard lawyer, Junior Senator with sealed records/mysterious past...and no experience except living off of the government and being a member of the Uniparty.
I’ll take the American patriot job creator, who’s actually covered a payroll for thousands, worldwide, produced jobs and signed the FRONT of the check.
Your Shtick Boy is now toast.
