Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz on Thursday said front-runner Donald Trump had defied “common sense” and embraced political correctness by coming out against North Carolina’s law barring people from using public restrooms of the opposite sex.
“He said he thought men should be able to go into the girls bathroom if they want,” scoffed Mr. Cruz, a U.S. senator from Texas. “Let me ask you, have we going stark raving mad? This is political correctness. This is nonsense.”

These bathroom laws change existing law. They allow perverted grown men to hang out in the same bathroom with your 5 year old daughter and there is nothing you can do about it. Any real man would know that this is wrong, and under current law, I can make sure the pervert pays a physical price for trying to be a pervert around my daughter. You want to make it perfectly legal for the pervert to hang out with my daughter. And you don;t see a problem with that?
Now, thanks to guys like you, if someone physically deals with a pervert being perverted with their daughter, they get thrown in jail because the pervert had the right to be there because he just happened to identify with that gender today.

Right now all those folks you refer to are hanging out in the family bathroom at many locations. Other stores only have single bathrooms that are unassigned.

As far as protecting our kids, I'd strongly submit to you that drugs are a real danger, which coincides with having an actual border (and a wall) to prevent that crap from even finding it's way here.

We are not with our children at school. This has already become an issue in our public schools. I don’t want these perverts in the bathroom with teenaged girls and boys either.

There is nothing simple about this issue. Unless you want the entire population subjected to genital verification so that they use the correct bathroom, there is nothing big govt can do here. If you are worried about children being exposed,,,GO TO THE BATHROOM WITH THEM! Better yet, check it out before you let them walk in. Is that so difficult?
