If you think Cruz is King David.....well, delusions can be pretty things, until reality smacks ya right in the face.
And Ted Cruz sounds just like Mr. Haney!! :p
We’ll see come convention time.
Come the convention, I expect Cruz to re-enact the courtroom scene from The Caine Mutiny. Right after the RNC slime confirms their attempt to #NeverTrump failed and they scurry to try and save some small parts of their fiefdoms by discarding Cruz like a used rubber.
We’ll see how it all shakes out.

Destroying the uniparty is what this is all about.
Cruz is over and he is a Bush republican and not a conservative.
He is also not eligible to be POTUS.
He is done, over, nobody wants him and he would never be accepted as the nominee by the voters.

I was mistaken, and I thought it was about the U.S. Constitution, conservatism and the country.

I always thought that the Founding needed to be conserved along with its society. That’s why I signed up for conservatism. That seems to have been lost somewhere in this election cycle.
Conservative Orthodoxy has become little more than a filthy whore for sale to the highest bidder.
She supports open, unfair trade, no borders and free import of labor, endless foreign wars when we have no strategic interest at stake...and worships at the alter of corrupt politics.
