Smoker?
Try a V.A. hospital sometime.
I hope you have a full and speedy recovery.
I woke up at 3:30 last night and COULDN'T SLEEP. Got up at 7:30. Every minute alive is a minute alive, would be my philosophy.
But cars, computers and airplane flights are complex, too...
I wouldn’t want to have to start reading up on which cancer drug I should take if, God forbid, I had it.
Buy a lousy PC, you can return it or get mad you wasted some money.
Pick the wrong med, well...
I hope so...
Three friends in the last 12 years died from either throat or lung cancer...
Horrible, horrible way to die...
Yes, all three were smokers...
Great Article. Stossel needs to go to Mayo Clinic in Rochester,Mn for amazing patient care. Astounding system. One of the best in the world.
Prayers
Unflappable guy
I admire that
I hope all goes well for Stossel. He annoys me sometimes, but I know he’s one of the good guys. Prayers up!
I would think so, It’s good though it was caught early
Considering what he’s going through, physically and mentally, this is a very cogent and well written assessment.
Prayers to Mr. Stossel.
My twin sister died in 2003 of lung-cancer. She was a heavy smoker. She told me she had quit smoking 5 years earlier, but that was obviously not long enough
It’s where my mom goes for her surgeries-she’s always amazed at how well she is treated.
Oh boo-hoo!
You mean doctors don't interrupt their time with other patents to stroke your little ego?
Honestly John you sound a bit whinny.
And I say that as someone who just was in the ER on Monday.
No doctor there gave me his e-mail address or sent me little emoji's. They were rather busy trying to figure out if I was dying or just injured.
Just injured it turned out and I thanked the ER staff profusely as I left in a bit less pain then I arrived.
I get X-rays, EKG tests, echocardiograms, blood tests. Are all needed? I doubt it.
Then you are dumber then advertised.
My condolences...
Market structure more the insurance. Hospital consolidations, mergers and the lack of local competition are the biggest factor in driving up the price of private costs and probably in quality of service as well.
Thanks
I lost my Dad when i was 45. I never saw him smoke. He quit before I was born. Once the damage is done, it doesn’t just go away.
